What position do we need to draft or trade for? What are we gonna do about Greg Oden? Will we get rid of him to widen our bench? or will we keep him in hopes of his return? You tell me what you think?

We need someone new in PG position. Either someone who will replace Andre or become his backup. Maybe play Roy or Rudy in that position? Regarding Greg, we definitely should keep him. We've been known to let go of great players and we should learn from our mistakes. We know what he can do when he is healthy and we passed on Durant for him. So, gamble or not we should keep him.

We do need a more long term youthful PG...but I don't think we can get that done with the 21st pick. I think trading would be the way to go, using Dre and Rudy/Babbitt to fill that need. We also need stability at the 5, but with Greg, Marcus, CJ and maybe Earl that could be OK.

What Portland needs is a 2 or a 3 who can come off the bench and just shoot. The lack of outside shooting allows defenses to sag back on LA sometimes 3 defenders. tell me something you dont know right? could you imagine a shooter like Ray Allen droping the ball in the post to LA or GO? The defense has to stay honest right? LA needs a solid big man behind him. someone who can play solid minutes and give LA much needed rest so he will be fresh toward the end of the season and playoffs when he is needed the most. I see a young Canby in Chris Johnson maybe if GO stay healthy stays in Portland he would be excellant back up. If....

Without knowing exactly what direction Allen and Cho have decided (IF they've decided) to take this team in, this question remains a difficult one to answer.

Knee-jerk reaction?  Two words.  BUILDING BLOCKS.  IMO, when assembling a competitor in this league with the current landscape being what it is, starting with the one and five positions is most advantageous.  Ofcourse, easier said than done, as any fan of this team is well aware.  Many questions and uncertainties surround this Blazers team with regard to these two positions in particular, suggesting that we are in for a very interesting summer and off-season.

Not DPOY. All American. Player of the year in his conference twice. Past four years, McCollum, Muscala, McCollum, Muscala.

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
