    Chris Paul has mentioned on the record that he would like to play in LA.
    but this article explains the possibilities of this trade in such an interesting manner.

    With Magic and his recent comments adding to the sensationalism fire burning in Los Angeles, it would seem more likely than ever that this may happen...Paul wearing the purple and gold.  The Lakers have little flexibility however and we are still pre-CBA

    i know its outdated super far.... but the names can just be changed.
    with sasha he can be taken out for either fisher or brown, i would hate to see brown get dumped on a no where team but it is plausible...

    CP3 to LA? Fine by me. Paul's knees are in similar condition to Roy's and you could tell by the majority of his games that Paul is not the same dynamic player he once was. I really think now that Phil is gone and Kobe is showing major wear on those tires, that LA will be in rebuilding mode, sooner rather than later.

    as a blazer fan i dont see how you could be okay cp3 going to the lakers, it only means that the dynasty could potentially continue.

    How do they get CP3 and Dwight without giving up Kobe? Bynum + change isn't enough for Howard and N.O. has West, they don't have a need for Gasol. Artest has little trade value also. Anyway, as long as Kobe continues on his downward decline, the Lakers will follow suit. He's never shown the ability to play second fiddle and I don't see any reason why he would change his tune now.

    Screw LA! They need to rot in mediocrity for at least the rest of the decade. I'm so tired of the rest of the league handing them over players to keep them competitive. Now it's finally time for that aging core of players to go down like a sinking ship. No Dwight, No Paul. Just say NO Orlando and New Orleans!

    in the past 10 years, there has only been 3 different teams to represent the western conference in the finals - Lakers, Spurs and Dallas.
    for the east they have had about 7 or 8 different teams......

    perhaps someone, like another team should decide to play once in and a while. hahahah
    Maybe if portland started to think long term and make some public speculations about trades they could land a super skilled player, instead of waiting for the best draft pick to never come........

    still a little sketchy, i have been thinking about how Paul might feel now that he has a new coach and how far his team got this year, he may want to try again, but with west's injury problems and expiring contract, it could go either way.

    as for the lakers, down here in LA, its everywhere, the news, the radio, word of mouth about how pathetic the team looked in the post season ( if that brings any relief to you die hard laker haters :D ).
    and kobe acting like a drama queen " wasted a year of my life" hah, please.

    also this is about CP3 to the knicks for the rumor that was started at Melo's wedding about him wanting to play in NY.

    Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.
