What is your take on this matchup? On one hand, no Blazer fan should ever cheer for the Lakers, but you king of want someone to knock off the eam that beat you. One the other hand, how good does it make us look if Dallas is able to go deep in the playoffs. Dallas is looking to sweep the lakers, i'm feelin good about that.

i will tell you exactly whats is going to happen and what has lead to this...

if you watched the lakers close out their season then you witnessed some very disgusting and effortless play.
they may have won a handful of their last 5 games but they should not of by any means.
they became super lazy, care free more like could care less it seemed.

in the first round, the hornets pulled out of their bag of tricks some amazing play sparked by CP3 and jarret jack, but when they caught the lake show with its pants around its ankles they instead of taking a kill shot they froze up, deer in the headlights and were taken out by a blessed playoff team. a very lucky laker team.

but now with dallas, its a different story. Dallas has been notoriously known for choking in the playoffs, imo i think they still might have something stuck in their throat.  they are going to okay game four and the lakers are going to wake up, and because of how un lucky dallas is and how lucky the lakers  are in the post season, i have a feeling its not going to be a 4 game series.

however i wouldnt bet on the lakers in the final, or that they even make it that far.....

its a little late to start worrying about looking good, i think all the players on the roster were already too concerned with that, because they sure as heck were not focused on playing against dallas.  :(

Well the only thing missing from Phli Jacksons resume' is becoming the first coach to have his team come back 3-0. Dallas better finish off the Lakers because they don't want a Game 7 with Bynum exploding and even though Gasol has been MIA a situation like this might wake him up and of course you have the Black Mamba but that LA for you they love playing with fire and having their back against the wall this is like the ultimate Hollywood script for them, but will it have the Hollywood ending.

Here's hoping for a non-Hollywood ending . . as I write it's the 3rd quarter in Dallas, but things are looking a bit dicey . . Dallas crowd trying to get their team pumped up . . though they are up 20.

LA played like a team that was beat before the opening tipoff even occurred. Their close outs on the Dallas shooters were slow and sloppy. Their body language was awful. They just didn't seem to be very motivated. They close out the All-Star break by losing to the Cavs, then win 17 of 18 out of the gates post ASB, then struggle down the stretch. Total enigma team, which makes me think they are having locker room chemistry issues. Just a hunch, but I would bet that Pau Gasol no longer wants to be on that team and will get his wish granted this summer.

That was so sweet last night (my time). I was able to catch the 2nd half and we had tons of fun on Twitter too!

It was a strange season for them and with those runs that you mention Dustin, it wasn't too pretty. It's so strange to me, though this probably reflects my lack of knowledge on this topic, after winning two titles, things would deteriorate. One would think they have the fire. Yet, I did read, which also makes sense, the pressure it takes to go for a 3-peat an be draining and this group of guys weren't the same group that we saw in 2000-2003 in terms of the maturity level, etc. My thoughts at least.

It should be interesting to see what they do this summer. Yes, as Dustin says, looks like Pau's time there is done - I mean he got two rings, so not a bad tenure, but all that soft talk came back with his performance in this series.

Also, what a classless way to lose as well - I'm sure if that happened to our Blazers (which it wouldn't, but just for hte sake of discussion) there is no way they humiliate themselves like that. So typical. So Hollywood. :-P

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
