    Well, I would love to have Nene. He's one of the most underrated bigs in the game and even if Oden does come back healthy, his minutes will need to be limited and a big man rotation of Nene, Oden & LA would be tops in the League. We are not under the salary cap but we do have our mid-level exception. The only problem is, Nene will demand much more than the MLE. The only way to acquire him would be a sign and trade, in my opinion.

    Nene is great but we need to sign Greg O. and Chris J. then we need to concentrate on a long term Point Guard such as CP3 or ? If we can sign Nene that would be a + but L.A. should start every game at PF and not play any Center next year.

    If it's possible to get Nene without breaking the bank I'm all for it because we have like you said DHawes22 an underrated big who can play center, score in the low post and can give LA some rest because you can move him to the PF spot with Chris Johnson or Greg at the center.

    chris paul wants to go to the lakers.
    Greg oden is not a sure thing and that Chris johnson is still a newb. hahah, nah but he is too young to be put in a role that expects him to help carry his team.

    nene would be okay, but he is not gonna ride no bench, thats the person this team should look for. the strong C who can start, but is willing to ride the bench, you get someone dope you might just be able to lure in your PG, or vice versa

    True dat true dat I just hope we can get someone who can get LA some rest and that we don't lose much when he's not on the floor.

    adding NENEwill be good for us, just imagine having CAMBJ, CJ, (GO is a plus if he can already play), NENE and LMA... we can now have a good front line leaving GW in his natural position which is the 3 position... then all we have to do is a little upgrade in PG and shooting guard and we are ready to go for next season i think....

    Picking up Nene would require a brilliant trade move, I don't think he or the Nuggets would be easily drawn into a deal. Cho would have to work some magic. Besides the Blazers would also need to get some quality players involved on the deal for two reason: 1) To make Denver "happy" and 2) Clear some salary cap for Nene's salary.
    I'd say the Blazers would have to give up something like:
    * Camby + Batum (worst case)
    * Camby + Babitt
    * Camby + Babitt + Miller (in this case Portland could maybe get Nene + Afflalo)

    It all seems very unlikely though.
    Nevertheless I'd love to see Nene in a Blazer's uniform, maybe it's not only because he's a great player, but also because I share his nationality as well.

    Nuggets want Nic, and have been relentless in their pursuit of Frenchy.  A package with matching salaries could be put together, however, would any such package translate into an improved roster?

    chances are, if you give up nic, the dude this team gets in that trade will get injured right away and Batum will blow up on denver.
