I think we saw a lot of hope for this team. I think chris johnson really stepped it up, if he eats some cheese burgers this summer he's going to be down right nasty. combine that with a hopeful oden return and we have some talent at the 5. then camby and johnson could also do some back up PF for aldridge. I also think we ditch babbit and barron and pick pendergraph back up.

Don't forget we haven't seen what a full healthy team can do with this current roster. dont forget patty is a capable point guard with a good 3 ball.

IMO, this team will look significantly different when Blazer basketball resumes.

I agree with everything but ditching babbitt. We desperately need someone who can knock down an open three and it sounds like he could possibly be that guy in the future. But then again he is third on the depth chart at SF and could easily be dropped if we need another position. I also would love to see Pendergraph back on this team, hes one of my favorite personalities.

nah babbit has got to go yo.
he is just not ready for the NBA. id list my reasons but right now this is my 5th attempt on typing this.

the team will be fine with a couple bench additions/ changes and the come back of Oden.
now Oden is the key to the blazers doing any better next season, they need him.
i wont hit any panic buttons but when it comes to GO you better bring out the easy button.

Unfortunately, the "button" is not for us to push or not push.  That responsibility falls directly in the lap of Rich Cho.  To date, Cho has done nothing but earn this fanbase's trust, pulling off arguably the most lopsided deal of the season, acquiring a player in Wallace that this organization and past GM's had been after for some time.  Be patient and give the man some time.  This team's championship window will not reopen for a minimum of three years, IMO.  Until then, realistic expectations should be at the top of the menu in Portland.

yeah but where is the weight in the wallace trade?
when the blazes did nothing with it?
like it is a good deal, no one is arguing that but, there were little to no improvements and in the end it was the deal that  didnt  pay off...

Thank you, Knorton. Now more rebuilding or anything. No rookie nonsense. Get a solid Defensive big. Trade every single pick to get it.

I don''t trust big men with a history of injury. Ibaka also weighs more than Noel, but you''re right, early days yet, he could bulk up. I am sure, that he will lose some of his speed and athleticism when he does though. Wasn''t that one of his bes...
