...but the hot and cold aspect of their play gives me a heart attack.

Is lack of confidence to blame for the drastic swings in play?  There are times, like fourth quarter game 4, when they are on fire (ok, in this example BRoy was on fire), but still, times when they can't miss...and then they follow great play up with not being able to make a basket to save their life.

On game 4, everyone, including myself, was stoked to see the 4th quarter come to life for us Blazer fans...but deep down, I was asking myself, if we can turn it on like this in the 4th, with our back to the wall, where were we in the 3rd quarter, when we couldn't buy a basket?

Everyone in the world knows that the Blazers do Not lack for a great fan base, nor facilities, nor a great coach, nor a lack of talent....but yet we go from hot to cold in a matter of a second.

The only thing I can attribute it to is confidence.  Our players some times look like they get intimidated by other teams.  The last Lakers game.  The last home Heat game, where we were ahead until the final minutes before Mr. James took over.  It actually appears that when these other teams and their stars rev up, we get nervous and intimidated.

Blazers players, start truly believing that you're the best.  Don't just think that, BELIEVE that.  Because until you do, we're never going to be the team to beat.  Until you believe that you are the best, the champions, you're never going to be able to hold onto leads throughout the fourth and actually be champs for once.

i think we lack an enforcer, joel was our enforcer, if he had been on chandler all series he would have been ejected for a game by now. but because we rely on lamarcus and GW so much they simply cant afford to be tossed for a game. dont get me wrong, im glad they haven't lost it and im impressed that they've only done some shoving, but you need a guy like pendergraph/pryzbilla who will just lay someones azz out once.

The most inconsistent shot in basketball is the jumpshot.  This Blazers team, while heavy in heart and will, lack players able to create off the dribble.  Outside of LA, the Blazers have little to no post play either.  The reason for the swings offensively, can be directly attributed to shot selection.  Just my take.

For these reasons, I would prefer to see the Blazers play a much more uptempo game, getting points in the paint on the run...something that Miller is very adept at guiding incidentally.

Why not? Getting Oden back for 15 a game wouldn''t be that bad if he can do as he did in his 1st season. Close to 2 blocks a game and anything close to 5 boards. He would provide a good presence and he can read the game quite well.

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

Sug81 I love Iggy but this team has numerous gaping holes throughout the depth chart so signing Iggy is not the best way to spend our limited funds

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
