I know Greg has been a big disappointment, but with as much as Portland has invested in this young man, Rich Cho should sign him to an incentive heavy contract for games played with a base salary of $2m.

I do not think he is another Sam Bowie.  Blazers should not let him leave for a team where he can become a success.

That would be ideal, but G.O. is a free agent so if another team offers him more than Rich Cho will have to make a big decision.

Offer him the base, load it with incentives. Some competition with Chris Johnson would be ideal. Its unlikely that I will stop thinking of Bowie every time someone mentions G.O. until he starts to perform. Who was that guy we passed on...some dude playing for OKC...Durant or something like that!? Aggravating.

He is a restricted free agent correct?  Should not get more than Wesley Mathews?

Can you imagine a starting lineup of miller, roy, wallace, aldridge, oden? Cant wait to see GO back out on the court.

I know that lineup would be amazing, even if Oden can only give 25 mpg.... Oden is a Center, in a league w/o any true centers, and he has a great feel for the game down low (except trying to block every opposing drive)

I belive if he comes back and the core of the team remains... that is a championship recipe

I''m not talking about those kinda calls, but phantom calls. Kobe gets soooo many phantom calls. I like Lebron, but I know because he''s a superstar he gets certain actions overlooked. Kobe just gets random stuff called. Remember when Kobe smacked...

Oh, sorry Damian, you make so many I stopped reading them. I don''t because I don''t know much about salaries and stuff. Stephenson would be great, excellent rebounder, Tough Defender, is playing awesome in  today''s  game.

Siccolo, did you mean heavier or lighter? I don''t think Noel will do well in the league. If he stays healthy long enough, he might be a half decent starter, if not, Greg Oden.

Damian, you are completely right on that, let''s just hope it''s not a negative impact (Shout out, Ray Ray). And since when did people WANT to come to Portland? This is great.

joint option for year three at like 8 million. Then if he works out you got him for a bargain for 2-3 years and if not it costs only 1.2 million for next year.

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
