Hey Blazer fans, a big g'day from an Aussie fan here.

I just finished watching the live coverage here, and while L.A was solid once again (24-10), my thoughts is that the bench just didn't cut it against a deep Dallas bench.

While it was good to see Dirk struggle to get his baskets early on, it didnt take him long afterwards to start getting to the line and gaining a rhythm which he maintained for most of the second half.

Again J-Kidd shot lights out, and got help from JJ Barea and Peja Stojakovic.

I'd really like to see the blazers get out of the first round, after everything thats happened this season , i'd like to think we have the team to give Dallas a deep playoff run.

What do you all think can be done to contain the likes of Dirk during the playoffs... After all the Mavs offence starts with him. Its like a domino effect. If we can contain him and frustrate him into bad shots and decisions we have a shot at getting into the second round.

    Thoughts?

I am a fan of seeing an uptempo Blazers squad!

I agree everyone is not doing their part and this is not a three man team.

We can talk about what this team needs to do but I just think we need a home game to get the confidence back especially our bench I still believe will can pull this out and I know the fans will be ready.

Well one thing is for certain the Mavericks are a XJ-12 firing on all 12 cylinders everyone is hot. Dirk is fighting for every hoop he gets. It is just that everyone else is on fire I think it has been ten years since Kidd has had back to back 20+ points agame go figure. While it is the same ol slumping Blazers on offense I see 3 people that have came to play a play-off game while the others think it is regular season thinking LA is going to carry them.

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Remember when Jammal Crawford said that Brandon Roy was full healthy again??

    also, imagine

    Damian, Roy, Batum, Lamarcus, Oden

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

Sug81 I love Iggy but this team has numerous gaping holes throughout the depth chart so signing Iggy is not the best way to spend our limited funds

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
