    Marcus Camby-
Camby's biggest goal on a team is to establish camaraderie. He learned the importance of being communicative and honest during his first three seasons in New York, when he was a teammate of Larry Johnson.
"A guy like Nic, he doesn't talk too much, and he probably thinks he is coach's whipping boy because Coach is always on him," Camby said. "But I tell him that's because Coach sees his potential and how valuable he can be to the team. I tell him that Coach just wants him to be better. I don't think Nic was seeing it that way – he was thinking he could do nothing right, woe is me ... but I said if he's not talking to you, that's when you should be worried."
Camby also serves as the center of the team's social network. Earlier this month, he invited the entire team to his home to watch the NCAA Championship game. And he started a road tradition in Sacramento by buying In-and-Out burgers for the entire team after the game. He is so revered that teammates alternate between calling him "Uncle Cam" and "Big Bro."

    Andre Miller-
Miller, on the other hand, leads more by example than with words. He often stays after practices to work his outside shot, setting up a mechanical ball return machine by himself. And this season he has become the most vocal of all the Blazers on the court, barking out signals and initiating huddles, during which he is animated and direct.
"You can forget that the series gets tougher and tougher with each game," Miller said "You like to win that first game to get momentum, but it becomes even tougher then to protect homecourt."

I only wish we had these guys earlier in their careers. I mean, could you imagine how much damage we could have done with either of them in the 09 playoffs? I love how each takes a different method to leading as well, therefore the message gets across through different channels. They both nearly led us to victory last year in the playoffs with a hurt squad, so I can't wait to see what they can do with a healthier supporting cast this time around in the postseason.

You know what is good about the draft you can usually move up and down if your willing. We could have gotten Drummond and everyone here knows it. We also could have taken Harkless, or Henson at 11 or moved back a few spots. We also could have draf...

They has a specialist come in 2008 and say flat out that Oden and Roy were going to have knee issues. If you know the knees are going to be a potential issue then as a training staff you need to work on strengthening that area, healing it and help...

Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
