I'll start with just Western Conference.  I need to see the way the Lakers play.  It seems to me they've been trying to find the gas pedal the past few games but have been unsuccessful. Because of that, Blazers have a good chance with the way LAL has been playing.  However, I hate to say it, but I think Lakers would likely beat us if they go into their playoff form.

I'm saying SAS over MEM in 5 or 6
Portland over Dallas in 5 or 6
    Denver over OKC in 7
    LAL over NOH in 4

    East...

    CHI over IND in 4
    Miami over Philly in 4
    NYK over Boston in 7
    ORL over Hawks in 4

LA and OKC in the WCF

CHI and MIA in the East

OKC and CHI, in a battle of the two top PGs in the league...

    Chicago Bulls champions once again

On a side note, the very same reason I would have preferred the Spurs in the first round will be the reason the Memphis/SA series looks like the LA/OKC series of last year.  Like Portland, SA is weak in the 4 and 5 in terms of depth.  Memphis will give SA all they can handle, esp now with Manu out for the first.  If SA advances here, it will be due more to the Grizz and their playoff inexperience losing, than the Spurs winning.

Maintaining objectivity is essential in the promoting of a winning and successful culture, and has nothing to do with loyalties (or lack thereof).

says the guy with a Adrian Peterson picture.hahaha
    i love AP.

I have  a feeling that the Lakers might not make it, and the i feel the same with san antonio.
i would love for chicago to play miami. that would be intense.
these celtics are creeping on in though.
I am still a little uncertain with Portlands fate, i think they can make it to the next round, but if they have to play OKC i dont think they can take em.

if i could have it my way though i would like Miami to take it, just for Bron's sake, but for the final Miami and OKC or LA.

I'm just going with the First Round to start off with

    western conference

memphis at san antonio: Spurs in 7
denver at oklahoma city: Thunder in 7

portland at dallas: Trail Blazers in 5
new orleans at l.a. lakers: Lakers in 4

    eastern conference

indiana at chicago: Chicago in 4
atlanta at orlando: Orlando in 5

new york at boston: Boston in 6
philadelphia at miami: Heat in 4
Spurs-Grizz: Not looking good on that one. I knew Memphis would put up a fight, but up 2-1? Wow. If they take Game 4, its over
Thunder-Nuggz: Wow! Who called OKC up 3-0? Anyone?
Blazers-Mavs: If we win game 1, we would have won in 5. I'll take 6 though!
Hornets-Lakers: Didn't see N.O. being this competitive. But if they don't tie it up at 2-2 tomorrow, series over.

Bulls-Pacers: Bull prolly in 5, so close there, but I didn't expect Indy to put up this kind of fight.
Magic-Hawks: Really blew this one. Orlando killed this series last year and it looks like the Magic have regressed.
Celtics-Knicks: Did not see a potential sweep happening.
76ers-Heat: Outside of a close Game 1, this series has gone according to prediction.

Looking good so far, although an upstart Griz team beat OKC today.  I knew I should have slapped some heavy lettuce down on my picks, especially with regard to the Spurs.  Chuck and I could have erased a sizeable chunk of our national deficit with our winnings, helping to bring some balance to our struggling economy.

I'm going to say if everything goes the direction it's going in the playoffs it will be the Mavs against the Heat in the finals and it will give Dirk and the Dallas a chance to fight the ghosts of the 2006 finals how crazy will that be.

I think it will definitely be the Heat coming out of the East (Boston just won't get over trading Perk, not sure why as I feel he's overrated) and who knows out West. The Mavs have no excuses losing to the Lakers up 2-0 and going back home. I just hope the Thunder don't find a way into the Finals..ugh
