With this tough schedule will Portland be able to make the Post Season? or Will they just get a bad lottery pick and have to start over again next year?

Oh they'll make the playoffs; it's just what seed they draw and who their opponent will be.

Despite the loss, the Rockets lost, so the magic number is 7.  Spurs might not have the big 3 tomorrow, so we're in luck.

nah i think portland will for sure be in the playoffs, if the teams flops on the rest of their games, it just gives the better chance of playing NOH or MEM, and i think its one of those teams that Portland can work over easily, the first round is always the worst, anxiety/jitters/fear/cockiness, but if they can get an easy first rounds and pop into the second  against a tougher team with their confidence boosted after round 1, just might have a chance.

the way i think portland is going to have the hardest time in the playoffs is if they play a team like SA/ DAL /LA  and from what i gather, Denver as well.
but you cant pick and choose, just win or lose.

I agree with Tay.  The Blazers are a lock to get it in.  It would take the greatest collapse in NBA history to avoid the post season.

They're going to have to win on the road - so let's hope they don't have to play San Antonio.  Their home court advantage is huge and they're by far the best defensive team in the west - a tough combination in the playoffs because the physicality changes and the refs let a lot more go.  I'm not afraid of Dallas or the Lakers, though.  I think those teams are beatable - especially L.A.   The Lakers are good because of their length, but LaMarcus does a nice job of evening the court a little bit when he drags the Laker bigs to the perimeter.
I am a fan of Gerald Wallace and his unsurpassed effort.

well its starting to look like the only team who can beat San Antone is Portland.

San Antonio has been resting their best players down the stretch. It will all come down to how effective they will be. If they are effective and Portland plays them in the first round, Portland will have a hard time advancing. They also have experience on their side, and an amazing home court record. Portland doesn't have either of these two factors, not to mention no interior defense, and lack of rebounding.

I see the Blazer's having a hard time advancing no matter who they play.

The Blazers are locked into the 6th Playoff slot, and now are waiting to find out who their opponent will be in the first round.  Should find that out tonight.
I am a fan of the team with the brightest future, and wins more games than they lose.

But I feel like worse teams than us would offer that so you never know he might want to come back where it all started... then again he could hate us with a passion and want to go absolutely anywhere else

Hey there''s no guarantee Noel will go 1st. If I''m the Cavs I would definitely consider trading down.

I don''t like Dwight, but he''s a top center in the league. I say top not thee top because I''d easily pick Marc Gasol, Joakim Noah, and maybe even Roy Hibbert over him.

Exactly that is the issue with Leonard he does not use his athleticism on either side of the ball.

I flat out called out LA''s poor passing in a thread a few months ago. His passing is so much better than when he was young but he needs to get better.
