“It went really well,” Williams said of the visit. “He said my progress is very good. I can’t jump yet, but I can do everything else and I’m going to start pushing it pretty hard. So I’m excited.”

A day after the checkup on Monday, Williams went through the most extensive workout since his surgeries — a 2 1/2-hour session that featured a slew of shooting drills, weight-lifting and cardiovascular work. The No. 22 overall pick of the 2010 NBA draft has been lifting weights for weeks to strengthen the areas around his repaired knees and he recently started doing light shooting.

Really glad to see that's he back on schedule. I only hope he doesn't lose a lot of his athletic ability, because he was a special athlete to watch in the air.

With the repaired knees, is he going to jump the same? I wouldn't think so.

he is reported to have a 46-inch leap. if he loses a couple inches, he's still going to be spectacular to watch.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Thank God they are 19 games over 500.  Mayb...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
