    oh, i was talking to a laker fan about it and he was telling me about the suspension, but i couldnt find a link, so that was the one he gave me. thanks for the espn story - although some of the laker comments on the facebook page are hilarious.

    I've heard a number of adjectives associated with Beasley, but let me now add another.  TOUGH.  That landing hurt just watching it.  He bounced right up though and was ready to dance.  Gotta give it up to him.  Didn't at all like Odom's reaction.  Reminded me of the fiasco with Rudy in the Garden.  If you're going to act like that on a basketball court, fine.  When things go south for you though, don't expect the referees to come save you, and I would strongly advise only acting the fool at home...not away.

    ...as for Bynum?  If those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...what should those who rely on glass knees for their livelihood not do?

    Really glad to see this dirty player suspended.  I'm sure Gerald is too.  A couple years back Gerald had his season ended because Andrew Bynum threw both his arms into Gerald's ribcage.  Looking at the play on Beasley, it looked very intentional, and some people are saying that Matt Barnes set it up, which is why Beasley was so easily able to get past him... who knows.

    Throwing fuel onto the BlazerNation fire just minutes before tip tonight, here is Bynum's foul on Wallace.  As with Beasley, there was no attempt at making a play on the ball.

    Not sure why the Laker faithful were booing.  Perhaps there wasn't enough damage done for their liking?  Not sure.  Whatever the case, one has to wonder why it isn't enough to be a part of the best team in basketball and one of, if not THE, most storied franchises in NBA history.
