    I was not able to get any feedback in the chat, during the game. So I'll ask again here. Since Camby has been back this is how his production has been.

    Marcus Camby:
    12/48 = 25%
    2.5 PPG
    8.3 RPG
    1.3 APG
    1.2 BPG

    How do you feel about that?     All bias's aside, this production is incredibly low. We definitely need his presence and his ability to rebound. But it seems like he is not getting many rebounds anymore. What do you guys think? Maybe give CJ some time?

    Lol Camby is fine.  He's playing with high energy and hustling well for his age and after being back from injury.  Keep in mind we have Wallace averaging like 8 rebounds a game, while the rest of the group is getting their fair share.  He's there for defense, and he's been playing good D.  I'm not worried about Camby at all.

    Something we can't catch ourselves saying is "he is good for his age and being back from injury." Otherwise we could always try and recruit Larry Bird. Nah in all seriousness though, I did consider GW's presence taking a lot of the rebounds. I also Considered that Camby is getting a lot less minutes. I am just curious how people feel. =)

    in truth camby fits well with the second unit pressure on the ball. him being in there with them allows rudy/patty or whomever to put pressure on the ball full court. camby will get more minutes in the playoffs/against teams with more size. but why run him down and make him play against teams that go smaller when going smaller means wallace can play the 4, and allow 3 other shooters out there with LA. or two other shooters with miller. why run camby down even more. imo he was only getting 30+ mins a game before his injury because he had to. no one else to play at that posistion. joel was hurt. dante was pretty much the other other """""""big"""""" on the team. i wouldn't be suprised if he plays less than 25mins a game for the rest of the season. cept against teams like the lakers/celtics(with shaq) lalala.

    those numbers are ok... not great. blocks are really good... assists are good for a 5... rebounds are good (not great for him). scoring and shooting percentage are bad, but the blazers are playing really well right now (i know... cleveland and philly), and seem to be getting better every game with wallace getting more and more confortable. i dont think its cj time. i actually dont think cj time will ever come. hes just here for another big body. hes not going to take amybody's minutes.

    I agree he fits very well into the second team. I just don't see him getting as many minutes as he was getting...even against LA or Boston. His shooting hurts us though. If he doesn't start making shots, then thats just a waste of a possession.

    i had stated numerous times, actually i think it was around a billion to be exact......that Cmaby should be on the 2nd team.


    but more importantly Emoney, how would you feel if you were 35, got hurt in pre season, then pulled your groin mid season, and was partially considered to be traded out mid way too (depending on the player/team portland would of traded with)

    But camby is not a shooter, i mean he may of hit a 3 on the clippshow, but he works better with down low dishes or a ally oop in transition. Camby is Pyrzbilla but less......ya know?


    i would put him on the 2nd squad, if not for anything else have him their for some decent experiance.

    I wouldn't feel to happy obviously. The shots he has been missing (and dre lately) are the easy shots. For a run at the playoff rounds we gotta make those gimmes. I would definitely agree with keeping him active on the 2nd squad. His rebounding is hopefully going to keep up. Assuming he keeps playing with the animal intensity he had in the Laker game. Lets just hope he hasn't hurt his ankle too bad. :p

    i was not happy to see how hard camby came down. But if he is hurt just keep in mind thats the 3rd time this season, idk about camby, but that would be a record high for me.!

    So what did happen to him. Does anybody know how bad it was and when he's coming back? I'm out of town so I haven't heard any Blazer news. Sorry for the dumb question if the answer is out there everywhere - but what's up with him?

    I think someone posted that his ankle was fine. Nothing was found that is. And he is questionable for Tuesday. Yeah I would agree Tay. It was an interesting injury too...how it happened that is. They like literally entangled their feet lol.
