Fair enough Tay, I can see where you're going. But yeah Aldridge at #8 sounds just right to me. No higher cuz i'm a realist, but no lower cuz i'm a blazer fan lol.  And honestly, I don't really have a problem with the other rankings, but it will probably be irrelevant because Rose will most likely walk away with the award

Aldridge will slide further down.  He ran a sprint while competing in a marathon and is now walking toward the finish line.  His line vs NO, while seemingly impressive on paper, was arguably the biggest contributor to the loss.  Everything came from the perimeter.  When he isn't forcing doubles in the paint, his jumpshooting teammates will find getting good looks very difficult.  LA must get back to collapsing defenses if he is to remain in this conversation.

do you think chicago can go the distance?
and if they dont do you think Rose will still take it?

I think they can go the distance, but won't. I see them losing in the Eastern Conference Finals.  But the MVP doesn't have any correlation whatsoever to the post-season, its just a regular season award.  And since he has taken his team to one of the top two records in the league, I think he deserves it. Best player on the best team should get serious consideration for the award, and at the end of the year, they may very well have the best record in the league.  But we'll see, it'll come down imo between bron, rose, and kobe

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

His defense was decent last year but not that good as he is either too weak or just unwil...

why is everyone high on Shabazz.  He can''t shoot and he thinks he''s the next best thing to Lebron.  His attitude is not positive.

Cmeese, you want to trade Aldridge too? Seems like you only care that the championships are under the Blazer name, and you''re willing to throw anyone under the bus to get it.

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
