In the past week and a half to high schoolers from michigan and texas died on the basketball court. One after a game winning shot. Another, after taking a sip of water on the bench. I just don't get it both guys were muscular and had played in so many other games and they just die on the court. Could you imagine if they were your kids? What do you guys think about the boys? RIP Robert Garza and Wes Leonard. Sad:(
I am a fan of of the L-Train and Batman slamming one home, and Wes holstering his 3 goggles!

Other then being BB players what other common denominators is there? Is it because of Sports in HS? I wouldn't think so. Did they die of the same thing? Where they both pushed to the extent of exhaustion with going into shock? What is the common denominator other then BB? What if they died in study hall? would you tie the death with study hall?

I hate to see any young people die before they have the chance to experience life, but I am more concerned with the death of alcohol, drugs, suicide and speed on the open high ways then I am with two BB players. At any rate it is a tragedy that HS students die while playing sports.

yes it is very sad to hear that these kids have died. the one thing that is not known in HS sports is there inside health ie Heart and lungs. most professional athletes have to go through extensive background to even be insured to play. these kids just get permission from there parent and than has some meaningless physical. what we need is better physicals if we don't want this to happen. underlying conditions go unknown until its to late.

yeah i think i did hear of this, and like a couple months ago did you hear the like Idaho or Nebraska college football team had 15 players hospitilized after what the media said " extensive workouts" they had like liver failure or something intense....

but idk if any of you guys are physically active in sports, or in general, fit.!
Be aware of Sleep Apnea! Sleep apnea causes the heart to work overtime during the night, and being more common in males, some guys gasp up to 500 times a night trying to breathe. Well this causes the blood to thicken and when you are out doing normal activities it could result in a heart attack, due to the thick blood.
Mens health article, 43 year old triathlon who suffered form sleep apnea since college, was running up a hill one day, to keep fit, and just curled over and died of  a heart attack..
    please be carefull

I would agree LMA is a decent defender but his help defense and team defense needs a lot of work. It is in these areas that Bosh really separates himself from LMA and it is because of that he is a better player than LMA despite not putting the sam...

Yes Rip City find me a core that can bring me a title and I will be loyal to them. Give me years of missing the playoffs and losing in the first round and I have no reason to be loyal.

Splitter would fill our needs the best. Pekovic isn''t great defensively but a solid rebound and a muscle man who would do decent. Al Jefferson is a less polished LMA with not as good defence and his rebounding is decreasing.

  4. LMA League Leader

I was looking at some shooting stats and came across a very very alarming stat. LMA was the league leader in FGA from 16-23 feet. Not only was he the leader he was lead by a mile. His 7.3 attempts from this distance easily outpaced Demar Derozan w...

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

His defense was decent last year but not that good as he is either too weak or just unwil...

why is everyone high on Shabazz.  He can''t shoot and he thinks he''s the next best thing to Lebron.  His attitude is not positive.
