What started out as the "Big 1" for the Blazers (Brandon Roy), has turned into a lethal team of SUPERSTARS.  I can say for certain that LA should have been an All-Star this year, B-Roy is back to business, Wallace is finding where his offense fits best, Camby destroys the boards (almost double the NBA average for Centers), Andre is all about blue collar hustle and nobody does it better than he does, Matthews... oh boy where do I start..? He's practically another Roy but has a more seasoned Bayless side to him, Batum creates those defensive stops we always need late in games and blocks fast break layups like his hand is a more improved Maginot Line, Rudy Ferrrrnandezzzzzzzzzzzzz ahhh what..? you need a three...? OK done,  Rudy will deliver.  Who better to deliver that pass than the main hustle himself, Patty Mills.  Watch Mills picks apart the defense with his quickness ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZdKkGmV9DM Now you get to the remaining player that I have not mentioned yet; Armon Johnson, Babbit, and Williams all of these kids can play ball and are capable of becoming some excellent students for future use as the Blazers develop with their current roster.
Back to Big 3 talk, I made my following decision by imagining if any of the blazer players could be a superstar on another team.  OK so what are the Blazers realistically a Big 2.. Big 3.. Big 4.. Big 5..?  Here are my BIG votes Roy, Aldridge, Wallace, Matthews, Miller, Camby, Batum, and Fernandez.  Face it guys the Blazers have to earn respect, it's not delivered to them by the large media markets that exist in NY, LA, Miami, ect..
The blazers have a lot of talent in their hands, a lot of young talent (yeah we’ve heard this before).  When this team reaches its maximum potential I see players like Kobe, Pierce, Shaq, Garnett, Nash, and Dirk looking at retirement a lot more differently, seeing as it will be impossible to get through the blazers.  What say you?  I'm sure either you or I could argue a case for the identity of a Blazers Big 3, Big 4, Big 5, Big 6, 7, even 8.  Instead we as blazer fans should throw that big 3 crap out the window and settle on what really makes the Blazers who they are and who they always have been a TEAM.  I suggest (since I'm stuck in Southern California) that next home game some of you hold up signs reading Big 3 (but crossed out) and under it write Big TEAM.  Also as another post said throw some props out there for Coach Nate when his name gets announced, he and the rest of the Blazer staff have orchestrated a miraculous rebuild.  Coach Nate has pushed a rebuilding team to ridiculous levels even with strings of freak injuries.
Now with injuries in mind I would like you all to remember what this sleeping giant is capable of
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hmgn9zkx2Ow  When Oden comes back and the Blazers are firing on all 12 cylinders then somebody is going to pay for all the jabs at the blazers bad luck, for doubting Coach Nate, doubting the team, for ignoring Portland, for not sending L.A. to L.A., for laughing at Oden, for saying Roy is done, for Coach Phil Jackson saying Portland is depressing, for everything that Portland (in a small media center) has to go through for some simple acknowledgement.  Portland is going to light a fire and every team will see their fury.  Portland will be feared more than the incapable Heat, the aging Celtics, the New look Knicks, the rebuilt Nets, the up and coming Thunder, or the ever-so-popular Lakers.  Enjoy being a Blazer fan, I believe there are few honors higher.

I just viewed a replay of the Trailblazers against the heat.  I sure liked what I saw.  The ball movement was evident of the team concept and I think coach McMillan has done a masterful job of creating a team.  I like the idea of Fab 10 or so.

Blazers have the deepest bench in the NBA behind Boston IMO.

Also, where did you find a replay without paying $?

    WHOA!!!!
    Whoa dude.
    Whoa.

Brandon Roy may have been the "big 1" but as soon as his knee shot out he might as well of become the "big none" for this team. Fans cam out all over on here and made statements such as, "the only people we should keep on this team are Batum, Matthews and Aldridge, Trade the rest" "yeah trade the rest."
Those are some pretty ruthless comments if you ask me.
But Roy, as much as he goes through, all the bad things that happen to him, will never fall to the "big none" because least we for get about the real "big none" the "bigger none" Greg Oden.

If you want to talk about a big 3 big flop! Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden 2008 season.
That was the most most disappointing thing as a fan of the blazers players. That really just killed it.
Wallace may not be big, but he sure plays like it. but what i see alot on this forum is "titles" being thrown out to players almost immediately or after one game, give it time before you set your hopes high.

Just give them a chance to play before they have to be judged or ridiculed

    Yeah pretty ruthless comments bro.

I'm glad you trolled through these parts and gave this obviously overzealous post new life.  Now please refrain from attacking loyal fans as they express their excitement in relation to team status, player performance, or alternative options for the team.  If you were looking for some solid sports blogging then I suggest you give John Canzano a call.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
