I've noticed a lot of new faces around here so I figured now would be a great time to introduce yourself and talk about how you became a Trail Blazers fan.

    I'll start:

    Name: Dustin

    Fan Since: 1990

    Fv. All-Time: Drexler, Kersey, Outlaw

    Fv Current: Aldridge, Matthews, Wallace

    Most hated rival: Lakers

Fv. moment: Winning the draft lottery in 2007 & being at the RG live when Roy hit the shot with .8 seconds left. I was too young to really enjoy the Drexler years

How I became a fan: Always loved playing ball as a kid. During the summer of 1990 my family was helping out with a BBQ outside of my Dad's store and I was bored so asked my Mom for money to buy some cards. I opened a few packs, loved the cards & found out we had a team. Fell in love with the red & black right then and there. Next step..getting pre-season tickets!

    Name: Michael

Fan Since: 1989-1991 (somewhere in there)

Fv. All-Time: Sabonis, Drexler, Uncle Cliffy

    Fv Current: Batum, Roy, Wallace

    Most hated rival: Lakers, Jazz

Fv. moment: Trading for Gerald Wallace.  I've been waiting for a Blazer with this kind of power and energy.

Least Fv: Seeing Oden go down.. again.

How I became a fan: Watching games with my Dad when I was 5-7yrs old.  He would throw a foam Basketball at the TV when the Blazers were doing poorly and I would retrieve it for him.. hahah good times.  I fell in love with the intensity of the team.
I am a fan of Nicolas Batum denying access to the basket via ridiculous acrobatic blocks.

    Name: daddy (Logan)

    Fan Since: 1970

Fv. All-Time: Petrie, Walton, Lucas, Drexler, Kersey, Sabonis

Fv. Current: Roy, Miller, Aldridge, Matthews, Rudy

Most hated rival: Lakers as well...

Fv. moment: The 1977 championship! My friend and I mowed lawns every week and managed to go to every single Blazer home game that year and one road game in Seattle. Made it to a few playoff games but then it became impossible to get tickets after round 2. We would take the tri-met to the games and then we would catch a ride home with teachers from our school who had season tickets. It was so cool that it turned out that was the "special season" and the team which all are measured against. Also, at the beginning of Game 3 in the 77' championship when Big Luke was introduced and he ran all the way down to the Philadelphia bench and shook Darrayl Dawkins hand. The was pure class!

How I became a fan: My grandfather got me involved by taking me to my first Blazer game vs the New York Knicks back in 1970-71 season. After that I was hooked because I already loved to play basketball! I have been a fan ever since and have never strayed from my loyalty to the team. I live in the dead center of California and trust me, I am a very rare breed down here! LOL In my photos section you can see pics of the original program I saved from that game, which we won also! You can also see a photo of my saved ticket stubs from the Magical 1977 season.

    Red hot and rollin' baby!!!!

    peace out,

Name - Herr (Stephen, pronounced "Steven")

    Fan since - 1990

    Fav All-time - Brian Grant

Fav now - Eh, I'm not a favorite type of guy.  Red and Black is top dog.

Fav momemt - Well, I was there for that 3 point shot as well by Roy to beat the Rockets.  I remember seeing it live.  I was like "Omg it's going in... it's going in... it's going in.... IT WENT IN!"  At first I didn't think it counted, but I was still happy he made it.  I couldn't hear for like 2 days afterwards the cheer was THAT loud.

Least favorite moment - anytime we lose to the Lakers

Most hated Rivals - The Lakers.  I hate the Lakers with a passion and cannot wait until Kobe and PJ leave the NBA since they are the reason there are so many idiotic Laker fans.

How I became a fan - well, I was a fan since birth in 1990.  I seriously cannot remember how I became a fan, but ever since I could walk I played with basketballs, and grew to love the sport.  Sadly things for me went downhill in my early teens and start of highschool.  When I was little, around 5 or so, my dad got tickets to a game and took my brother to a game to get him interested (even though I was a huge fan at the time and watched every game).  So, about 10-12 years later he returned the favor and took me to the game.  It was the 10th game of the 13 game win streak in 2007.  I was instantly hooked, and when they lost in Utah on the 14th game, I was instantly mad lol.  Been a fan since, and I don't see myself not being a fan.

I have always been a Blazer fan. It's in my blood. My parents watched every game when I was growing up and it continued on into my adulthood. But I can clearly remember when I became a super fan. It was about 6 or 7 years ago. I was a new mom and I stayed home a lot. I ended up watching the games and getting into them a lot more. Then 95.5 The game was created. It upped the level of my fan-ness. LOL! I can call or text and have my opinion voiced. Now, I attend as many games as I can, go to Applebee's to watch the games, have Apps on my Iphone for ESPN and I not only follow the Blazers, I follow the whole NBA. My friends and family think it's funny, but you know who they come to if they need to know something about basketball. LOVE IT!
I am a fan of The Blazers getting my heart racing and my blood pumping! RIP CITY!!!

In the beggining there was Geoff Petrie,Rick Adelman,Leroy Ellis,Stan McKenzie,Ron Knight,Shalor Haloman,Jim Barnett,Dale Schluter,Claude English and that is all I can remember from the first team. I guess I was 7 years old when I went to my first game and just knew I wanted to play. The good lord graced me with the height of a towel boy , the agility of a bowl of peanuts and a vertical leap of 8 inches, that is today, it was much worse in high school. good thing the sport needs fans cause I am one of them.
Favorite player: Jim Barnett, Hon mention: Jerome Kersey
Current Favorite: Man you just got to love the way this team is coming together. I mean with all the adversity, all the Nay-Sayers ,still we have managed to get this far with nothing but sheer intestinal fortitude.
this whole team should be everyones current favorite.

    Name- Darren

    fan since- 1977

fave all time- B.R. Bates, Walton, MoLuke, Jerome, Brian Grant, too many to name

    current fave- Batum, Rudy, Crash

fave moment- winning the title, of course; I never heard my parents and friends cheer so loud

least fave moment- blowing double digit leads to the Lakers twice in the conf finals (1991 and 2001)

    hated rivals- Lakers, Suns, Jazz

how I became a fan- watching how fun it was to see a team from our state win it all is something I'll never forget; having full access to the Blazers wasn't easy growing up in Bend, but I always had the radio tuned in and listening to the excitement of the Shonz calling the games as well as the disappointments; you knew he bled red and black.
I am a fan of THE ROSE GARDEN FOREVER!!!

My Favorite players of all time- Clyde Drexler, T.R. Dunn, Buck, Duck, Joel and The Schonz

Favorite Momment is when I was over in the Gulf on board The USS Nimitz listening to my Blazers on the radio in the early 90's

My Least Favorite Momment was when Clyde was traded.

The 2 teams that I dislike the most #1 The LA Fakers and the Newest Rivalry for me The Criami Heat.

I became a huge fan when my Dad would get tickets through his employer back in the late 70's and the decade of the 80's we went to so many games. I remember seeing Magic and Kareem, Jordan Pippen, Sampson and Hakeem, Bird and Parrish, Stockton and Malone, and so many more. I was a lucky kid, I have so many memories.

Fan Since: 1990, when I was born

Fv. All-Time: Don't really like picking favorite's, every win comes from teamwork.

    Fv Current: ^ Same

Favorite rivals: Lakers, Spurs, Thunder, Jazz, and Mavs (Because Aldridge performs like it's a playoff game every time.)

Fv. moments: Roy's Buzzer Beater (No need to state which one), Picking up Wes Matthews, Hearing Camby say:
"You should have seen this locker room after the game," said 15-year veteran Marcus Camby. "Guys were cheering and jumping around like we won the NCAA championship. That's a great feeling to be around."

How I became a fan: I have always watched the games with my family since I was a baby (until CommunistCast took over the games. How can you keep the games away from the local community? The people who watch the games on the T.V. are some of biggest and most dedicated fans this team has.) Anyways, I also have collected basketball cards since I was a kid, I have a ton of Blazer cards from Franz Bread from the early 90's.
I am a fan of The 503 Nation rising to the top. Rip City is back with an attitude.

when the blazers drafted my countryman Sergio Rodriguez I was down with you all!
+I like Rudy, but Sergio and me were close; cause we from the same island...but even without a spaniard on the team (which I hope doesn´t happen cause Rudy is worth watching games even in the early morning) I will remain a blazer-fan!

    Go Blazers!!
I am a fan of the blazers 'cause they don´t rely on 1 particular player 2 take 25 shots a game 2 b competitive, the guy having THE NIGHT gets the ball..
