For Roy to truly compliment this team he needs to do what he originally did not want to do, and that is become more of a spot up shooter and work off the ball, coming off screens like he was last night, spotting up for 15 footers and 3-point shots. I see Roy becoming that Ray Allen type of player for us, someone who becomes feared at the 3 point line and mid-range game (which he already excels at) forcing players to rush out on him, spreading out the floor, which would in turn give him and other's an advantage when he does go to the rim.

I don't think a Ray Allen type of game, but the game that MJ and Kobe have adopted late in their careers. That's producing their shots primarily in the mid-range, and of course as you said shooting from the outside. Should be simple for him he's already one of the best mid-range shooters in the NBA.

ya, it seems that this transition is already happening, seeing Roy get blocked by wade was a little discouraging until he came back and shot that 3 a few plays later. He has a skill set where he doesn't necesarily need to get around people to get his shot, he just needs to create space for a shot, which he seems to still be able to do at times even without  a screen.

Not DPOY. All American. Player of the year in his conference twice. Past four years, McCollum, Muscala, McCollum, Muscala.

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

  8. If you could be gm this offseason what would you do ?

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
