When we are at home, (or on the road),  chant "Nate! Nate! Nate!" when he is announced in the starting lineup to show appreciation for signing an extension and doing a great job with this team.

Also, when LaMarcus Aldridge is shooting FTs chant "MVP! MVP! MVP!".  He is in the race and should be in the race for MVP

    I thought you'd say,

Blazer fans, do your team a favor...leave your cellphones at home when you come to the Rose Garden, and watch the darn game for a change.

I see you all down there, you know who I'm talking about. Texting and watching basketball don't mix.

I've been a suporter of nate and the work that he's done every since coming here from jailblazers to injurys there isn't a better coach to have than him well deserved and he's 4 wins away from having a 500. record as the Blazers coach. Glad to see LA gets some props in the MVP race he's been nothing short of a BEAST this season. It's good to see that most of the fans are behind Nate unlike other fans who are behide their coach,

Herr...I will lead my section!  I have been even a bigger supporter of Nate since realizing the stagnant iso offense wasn't his.  Curious as to why only a two year extension though, which translates to just one more full season.

@CarlJ1...thanks for the providing that link.  Sad indeed.  We coaches have a saying..."coaches lose games, players win them."  I do think Spoelstra may have been a strong candidate here had the Vulcans decided to not do the right thing and lock Nate up.  There will need to be a scapegoat in Miami and the bell was just put around his neck.  In reality, Riley is to blame, not Spoelstra.  Riley hand picked the big three, making the decision to foresake the two most important positions on the floor, the 1 and 5.  I lit up these message boards back when this team was first assembled, warning those who thought the Heat should be sized for rings that they would have struggles.  All three, Bosh, Wade, and LeBinky are the same player...lower the head, put the ball on the floor, and create for yourself.  Unfortunately for Miami, league rules only stipulate ONE ball be used per contest, not three.  Not having a distributor or a post presence is costing them games now.  The post season will be no different.

Totally agree with you BDawg.  Miami has shown that even though they have 3 powerhouses, that is about it.  They have no real depth to the team.  Last night's game illustrated that fact perfectly.  Miami's bench was embarrassing!! I feel for Spoelstra as he has basically been set up to fail.  The popular perception is that how could a coach NOT win a championship with the big three in his stable?  Flip side of that coin, it will be interesting to see how the Laker's fare if Coach Phil really does retire at the end of this season.

But Herr you do realize this is a slow but sure enough step towards becoming the one thing you loathe.

Laker Fans.. usually do that chant, teams like the Heat do that stuff, the blazers fans dont do that stuff, i thought you guys were different.
and youre finna tell me you cant come up witha  different chant?
CMON! Damn near brought in the vuvuzela's last year you can come up with a chant.!

Dude , do you even watch basketball? like outside of portland, do the rabbit ears get the heat games?

Because surley you would know that, CLEARLY, they are not the same type of players. This seasons haws demonstrated that if not more than ever. you must be part of that group that doesnt know why they hate that team but for some reason make the monthly donation to continue doing so.ha
Like you are going to tell me that Bosh can dish the ball just as good if not better than wade and bron. And that brons jumper is the best out of the 3?
because if they are all the same??? Bosh cannot create for himself, Odom can create better than Bosh. i mean wth?

Im sorry but for someone who talks alot of BBall, i dont see how you could even imagine that statement to be true.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...
