Aldridge Is In The MVP Race

    At least to NBA.com he is....

     Aldridge has been one of the king's of the Honorable Mention list in The Race, but his work in February -- Western Conference Player of the Month -- get him upgraded. He started March like a lamb (14 points, 3 rebounds vs. Houston) but roared back a little (20, 10) at Sacramento 24 hours later.

    Even today, with the news of Roy being cleared for more playing time and perhaps a more significant role, this is still LaMarcus' team.  The fact that his name is in the conversation for MVP is but one glaring example.  Much to be excited about for Blazer fans, as opportunity is knocking...on several fronts...and the man at the door is LA.  Will he answer?

    As Aldridge goes, so will this years Blazer squad.  The Blazers will need a February-like performance from him from here on out, in order to have a shot at anything higher than a 7th or 8th seed.  The next two games will be telling, serving up chances to regain the form earning him WCPM in Feb.

    Can't remember any MVP recipient ever not having made the All-Star team that same year.  Wouldn't THAT be interesting.

    wow look at all this attention, ya'll better take a snap shot of this moment and save it for one of them rainy days........

    He should without a doubt be on that list, he has been playing like G.
    But i agree that its going to be a tought race....

    who else is in the race Bron? Ellis? Rose? i think d wade too?

    This is huge just for him to be on the list.  If Portland wins 50 games he should be MVP but if not, how can it not go to D-Rose or Dwight?
