What is the biggest key to victory?
    Ball Movement (20+ Assists) (10)
     36%
    Contain Kevin Martin (3)
     11%
Jump out to a fast start (8+ point 1st quarter lead) (4)
     14%
Get Aldridge going in multiple ways (pick and pop, down low, lob passes) (11)
     39%

    Buy Houston Rockets TIX

The Trail Blazers wrap up their five-game homestand Tuesday night against the Rockets, looking to rebound from an embarrassing loss on Sunday against the Hawks. Not only is this the last of the five straight home games but Portland is going for the season sweep of the Rockets and pushing for a homestand as well. Portland defeated Houston 100-85 on January 2nd and finally got an elusive win at the Toyota Center, 103-100, three days later on the 5th.

After dealing away both Shane Battier and Aaron Brooks, this will be the first time the Blazers have faced the new-look Rockets who stunned the Hornets last night in New Orleans. So even though the Rockets look lottery bound and have lost a lot of their talent, either through trade or injury, they are coached by Rick Adleman, which means they'll fight to the bitter end. Portland just needs to jump out to a fast start, get the crowd behind them and play loose. They looked very tight last night and hopefully they can play just down and play their game.

Aldridge needs to get on a fast start so that we can get a good lead and the 3-Pt shooters need to make shots.

Blazers just need to stop shooting three pointers.

Tonight should be a good one to stretch Brandon's minutes a little bit cuz we have a back-to-back tomarrow and nate said that Brandon isn't playing in the second game of back-to-backs yet... Plus Roy needs qualitlty minutes to get a rythem going. Contain Kevin Martin and feed the ball inside to Wallace and L.A and we'll get a good start March.

According to Jay Allen of 95.5 The Game, Coach Nate McMillan wore a headband to shootaround this morning and then presented it to Gerald Wallace. The headband is back!

I think you mean they need to stop MISSING three pointers.  When the Blazers can start making some three pointers in a game, or any outside shots for that matter it helps spread the floor and gives LA more room to work his magic!

Disappointed that more of an adjustment wasn't made at the break to get LA involved.  No LA, no W's.  Rockets seemed to score at will as well.  Interior defense was soft...so much so in fact, I was waiting for a trick play from the Chip Kelley playbook.  Defensively, I am confident this team will right itself on the road.  My biggest concern is the way LA is being taken out of the game.  Nate needs to counter.

Very disappointing game.  To allow the Rockets to shot 60% is just absolutely terrible.  Very discouraged leaving the Rose Garden these last 2 games.  I say lets start Wallace and move LA over to the 5 spot (oh the other 4 spot LA).

You had 2 Blazers out there that broke a sweat

    Batum and Wallace

That's just not enough sweat to win a basketball game.

Lol, no. Dwight Howard would be the absolute worst thing to ever happen to Portland, and no doubt my fellow message boarders will let you know why.

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
