    so most likly the blazers will be the 5 seed or 4th so the will probably have to play okc who wins the series and in how many games

    Well, first off, I think the Blazers are more likely to end up in the 6th seed than the 5th, because of NOH's schedule vs. ours, but I think even if that was the case OKC could pass the Lakers or somehow end up being our first round opponent anyway.

    In terms of who wins, it depends on if we have two centers or one or zero. Right now we have none, but we may get Camby back soon. Assuming he stays healthy, there's one. For the second, I'd love to see Charlotte buy out Przybilla and have him come back here in 30 days, but with Michael Jordan's recent comments (as reported on NBA.com) about Pryz, I think it's less likely that it happens (this year) and we'll need to make a run at him in the summer. We could sign a D-Leaguer, or one of the buyouts that may happen from other deadline deals. Or we could see if Pendergraph has healed up enough for us to resign him (remember him anyone?) because Aldridge and Camby are PFs by trade and we need another body, either a real center or another PF that can play the 5 (like Pendergraph) to soak up minutes - and fouls - in a playoff series against a bigger team. Also dependent upon who has homecourt but I'm assuming OKC will.

    I'm saying that if we have 2 centers, we're probably going to a game 7 and losing, though it's possible we win. If we have one, probably 6 games and lose 4-2 (home wins everywhere until the sixth game). If we have none, we may get swept. Aldridge can't match up against Perkins and not get fouls and fatigue faster than average, so I'm worried about that. Oh, one last variable. If Roy becomes the Roy of old (or close to it), I say we win in 6 or 7. It's hard to predict how he'll do - he certainly won't be washed up, but I'm talking if he's just good or All-Star level again.

    Now with them having Nazr and Perk.... They will take us 4-2 unless we get them tired or can switch to matchups we like

    I think it depends on whether or not we have Camby and another center,  Maybe like sameer mentioned we could get Pendergraph back if he is healed by the playoffs, and also I think it depends on how good of a fit Gerald Wallace is for us.  If we have multiple centers and Wallace is a good fit for our offense I feel like we have enough to beat them.  I like the matchups for us against okc since Wallace can hold Durant to about 20 since he's a great defender, and Camby and Aldridge can probably give Ibaka and Perkins some trouble.  Like I said I am a bit worried about our depth at center and we will probably need another center/power forward so that Aldridge and Camby arent forced to play 45 minutes per game, but unless those two get tired because of our lack of frontcourt depth I like our pf and center matchups.  The only thing I'm worried about is I dont think Andre can defend Russel Westbrook.  We are going to need to play great help d on Westbrook or else he will just blow by Andre Miller since he is like twice as fast.  I feel like if we lose a series against okc it will be because we can't handle westbrook.

    We lost barely to OKC in our meetings.
    Perkins was a huge get for them.
    Wallace is going to be a big lift to our team with his hustle.
    Just getting us a few extra 2nd chance points will give us the edge.

    you are right on this one.
    Perkins is their missing link, but like you mentioned Wallace is big for us as well.
    But i think Perkins for OKC could outweigh Wallace for Portland, OKC has us on the speed.
    And when their PG grabs 8 boards a game and has the potential to get 10, idk. Portland would need to play with passion.

    I think you forget that we have two really good defenders in Batum (who can gaurd the point), and Wesley.  I think we match up decently with them now that we have Wallace.

    How we do in the playoffs depends on a lot of things:

    -How Gerald Wallace plays with the team
    -If we'll have problems with our depth at center and if we'll be able to solve it with JP or someone else
    -If Brandon Roy will return to his old form
    -If LA can keep up his production with two new all-stars on the team

    All those question could be answered tonight with the Hawks game.
