    He has always been one of my favorite players and i still cant believe we got him!!!! tomorrow nights game on ESPN is a perfect way for him to get a glimpse of what playing for our team will be like

    Last night, on a couple of occassions, I remember saying to myself..."what a first impression for Wallace in the RG".  As I've said in other threads recently, with the addition of Wallace, this Blazers team is going to be very fast.  The style of play recently that we fans have fallen in love with is only going to become more dynamic now.  For this reason, Wallace's blue collar approach and his character, who wouldn't be excited to welcome him to PDX?

    I wonder what instructions Nate will give Wallace for his first game without any practice days.  Strong defense and keep moving on offense and the others will find you.  Thats my bet.

    I'm excited.  I still keep hearing how much of a steal it is that we got him.  He's also a good rebounder, which is what the team needs if we're going to be having only one legit center for the rest of the season.
     
     I will say he's very good at hiding his emotions lol.  Whenever it showed him on the camera, even during the most intense moments, he just had a straight face and was watching.  Hope he loves it here in PDX.

    Im super excited to see him play for us.  I always loved how he played with Charlotte, although I must say he kind of annoyed me before now since he always shutdown the stars on my two favorite teams (the Blazers and Lakers) but im glad that the Blazers wont have to worry about playing against him anymore.  i love his energy and effort on both ends of the floor. Also If you guys havent seen his blocks watch this.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDD4OCCbubY

    the one right after that one was a game saving block too since there was like 30 seconds left in the game and they where up by 3.  Also the guy throws down some awesome dunks, he was in 2 dunk contests.  this video is pretty immpresive too but I personally like the blocks one better.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuJlbbsVQeA

    this guy is a straight beastttttttttttttttt i always wished him on portland and traded for him in nba2k games lol... i swear now he is on the team in reality... wow imagine that... all i know is this is gonna be a fun year... he will bring the defense up a notch ! can you say ALLEY OOP!!!!

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
