RETHINK THE TRADE?????

    THE BLAZERS TRADE YESTERDAY BEFORE THE DEAD LINE SEEMED TO BE A GOOD TRADE AT FIRST BUT WAS IT REALLY THAT GOOD. REASON BEING IS WE ALL AGREE THAT GERALD WALLACE IS WAY BETTER THAN ANY OF THE GUYS WE GAVE UP. SO THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM IS THAT MARCUS CAMBY IS STILL PARTWAY INJURED AND IF HE COMES BACK AND GETS INJURED AGAIN AND IS OUT FOR THE SEASON. THEN WHO WILL BE THE BACKUP? NOT GREG ODEN, NOT SEAN MARKS, NOT PRYZBILLA, AND IF LAMARCUS WANTS TO KEEP PLAYING GOOD IT CANT BE HIM. SO THEY WILL HAVE TO GO OUT AND GET A BIG MAN FROM THE D-LEAGUE WHICH WON'T BE VERY GOOD. SO, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?????

    two things......
    First, your keyboard may be broken, you might want to look into that.

    Second, i think that you have  a nice point. This is now going to be in the back of so many fans heads now, constantly worrying.
    Camby has no reason to get injured agian, and if he does then perhaps it could be a sign...from above....
    Aldridge is showing no signs of slowing down, if anything he gets the ball more and more each game, like the other night vs the lake show he failed to drive it in at the buzzer ftw.
    I think we should change up our game play, not giving it to aldridge as much, or getting him to kick it out to a shooter. This could help ease some of the action he gets, not to mention we have yet to see how Wallace will play into the offense, if he and LA start getting a tandem going that would be crazy.

    TayC what game did you watch?  Everytime he touched the ball in the 4th he passed to a wide open shooter... who missed it.

    Aldridge needs the ball MORE in my opinion.  It seems they keep forgetting about him, and try to lean on him after he has't touched the ball in ages.

    Well i guess i did, or i guess he should of taken it and scored himself they might of won....

    im not saying that he doesnt do it...im stressing the point that "going to aldridge everytime" is only going to work so much untill a player with good d gets on him....or he gets injured...then what?

    I am just surprised no one has stopped him yet.... maybe its true and no one watches POR games.....??

    Even if NBA fans from the rest of the US don't watch PDX doesn't mean anything. The players ALWAYS watch PDX as much as they watch any other team that has had 50+ wins the last few seasons. Our outside shooting has opened up the inside for LA. Have you seen how fast people close on Rudy these days? On top of that LA has increased his post game so much that he is just going to dominate either way.

    no.  we should not rethink the trade because we can just get a big man as soon as one becomes available after they get bought out.  I think Troy Murphy or Renaldo Balkman could help us and they are getting bought out so we should just go out and get one of them.  If Cho doesnt do that than that would be dumb since like you said we have no backup c and we are screwed if Camby goes down again and we dont get another big man.  But like I said, us not having a big man for now is not the end of the world since we can always either sign a bought out player or someone from the d league to help us out in the middle.

    also by the way Marks just got released by the bobcats and Pryzbilla may get bought out to so its possible, maybe even likely that we get at least one of them back since Pryzbilla's kids still live here and he said he wanted to come back here.
