    We didn't get to know Dante for very long, but during his shot stint in Portland he made quite an impression on Rip City. He was always one of my favorite players to watch and I was a little upset to see him included in the deal with Joel, mainly because it came out of nowhere. At least with Przy, his name was rumored to be moved for a while, so it gives you extra time to get prepared for a move. Like Joel, I hope he can find his way back to Portland in the future. His heart, hustle and determination will be missed. I remember my wife telling me that she met Dante during his rookie year as he stopped in, looking to buy a pair of sunglasses. While no sunglasses were sold, she had nothing but great things to say about Dante and quickly became her fan favorite.     I'm going to miss DC as well. Good defender, always hustled, NEVER complained and always committed a HARD foul without being a flagrant, lol.
    I am a fan of having a completely healthy team for once.

    Dante, you embodied everything that I love and respect in a basketball player.  You are first class and will be missed.  I have no doubts you will show the 'Cats why you meant what you did to this Blazer team, and will be pulling for you every time you lace 'em up.  Thank you!

    Dante gets to meet Micheal Jordan, MJ will introduce him to Horace Grant,
    and Dante will turn into the Beast from the East. I'm excited for him, get 'em DC!

    Adieu to The Masked Inferno! Dante, you will indeed be missed. In Rip City, we're honored to have been the first step in your NBA career and wish you the very best in all the steps to follow.

    I was privileged to be present last night, even though we didn't realize at the time that it was your last game in a Blazer uniform. You are destined for great things, even if not all of them happen in the Rose Garden.

    Dante, you will rise to the top for sure -- wish we could have continued seeing you do that with a Blazer jersey on though.  You've had a very exciting season here.  Love watching you block high arching jump shots and your dunk with authority.  Love your East Coast balling in a town that needs it.  Hope you'll come back and high five your old fans regardless of what uniform you're wearing.

    Dante, it was a tragedy that you had to go. You exemplify what it means to be a Trail Blazer, and I wish you luck in your future in the NBA. Hopefully we will meet again.

    He came into my Whole Foods store by their practice facility right after he found out. Mentioned he was being moved, and was kinda bummed, but optimistic.

    I like the trade, but I also appreciate the effort Dante gave us. He is a strong young player with tons of potential, but it's a business so good luck bud!

    Not sure I like this trade, but I definitely liked Dantes effort every day on the court! I wish him luck!!!

    He'll have a good career. Definitely a high-effort, hard-nose guy kinda like....Gerald Wallace.

    dante was 1 of my favs on the team... so much potential. i think he's gonna be a really good player when he puts everything together....  good luck dante!

    I wasn't expecting that we were going to have to say goodbye to you so soon.  I always appreciated your energy every time you stepped on the court and I am sad that we will not get the chance to see you develop as a player.  I wish you much success in the future Dante and I am certain you are going to do great things.  I look forward to the next time we get to see you at the Rose Garden!

    Dante, you are just beginning to show the NBA what you are capable of.   We will miss your energy and astonishing ability to block shots and bother the bigs.   Good luck with the Bobcats and continue to shine!

    To bad we had to give him up.  Ill miss him and the good defense and hustle he brought every night.  Also we need him now since Aldridge is our only big man untill Camby comes back.  Still a good trade for the Blazers but its to bad we had to give up Cunningham in the trade.

    DC is the man.  He is a great team player.  If we are able to somehow lure him back, along with Joel, I would be ecstatic.  If we never lure him back, I will always be a fan.  Although, I do hope DC doesn't give up.  Work hard, my friend.

    I miss his "junkyard dog" scrappy play.  Can't help but love a player who gives it their all whenever they are out there on the floor.
