Do you know the link to the list of NBA free agents? Please post it here, so that we could discuss which free agent is potentially going to be a Blazer.

As for my opinion, rumors surfaced that the Warriors are going to buy out Troy Murphy's contract. According to NBA.com,

Warriors, Nets make trade for Murphy
Warriors get:
• F Troy Murphy
• 2012 second-round pick (Nets)
• Official Release

Nets get:
• F Brandan Wright
• C Dan Gadzuric
• Official Release

Instant Analysis (Feb. 24): This was basically a move to free up cap space for next season. Golden State is expected to buy out Murphy's contract to make him a free agent, while Wright's and Gadzuric's contracts -- worth about $11 million combined this year, close to the same as Murphy's -- also expire at the end of the season and help New Jersey clear salary cap space.

I think the team should sign him in, once the Warriors are going to buy out his contract. He would make a decent back-up big man.

You were looking at his current stats at New Jersey. He was pretty decent during his stints as a Warrior and as a Pacer.

Yeah but we have position 1-4 pretty well on lock down. And I couldn't see this guy giving us any relief at the 5.

Murphy can play the 5. And we don't have the 4 locked, Wallace can play 2-4 but we need someone with legit size behind LMA, even if its for 10 mins a night.
His numbers before going to the swamp: 14.6 pts, 10.2 rebs, the fifth year out of nine he averaged a double-double. Getting him would be great.
That said, he's headed to Boston. That's why they unloaded Erden and Harangody for a pick, just clearing roster space for him.

Pryz will probably get bought out by Charlotte, I don't see why he couldn't be brought back. Otherwise, we'll have to get some D-League fodder to backup Marcus and LaMarcus. Leon Powe got waived. D-Leaguer I would be most interested in is Sean Williams. I liked him in college and he showed promise as a rookie, just doesn't have his head on straight. Courtney Sims, Patrick O'Bryant.....a bunch of garbage.

Leon Powe heads up my list. I'm thinking Powe will rejoin the Shamrocks, meaning that Murphy may be had. Much rather have Powe however. Perfect antidote for OKC's newest Blazer poison. My two cents.

As for the Celts, I believe that they want to have a protege for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. I suppose they found that in Jeff Green.

yeah we should get Murphy if possible since we have like no big men right now. Also Renaldo Balkman will most likely be bought out by the knicks and he isnt bad since he is a solid defender. Either one would be better than a d leaguer.

Murphy is a pipe dream for us unfortunately. We'll have to settle for table scraps.

yeah I doubt we could get Murphy since he will probably want to go to Boston. Leon Powe just got boughtout though and it seems like we could get him. He's 6'8 or 6'9 so he's a little short to play center but we don't have any power forwards either and if we got him we could play him at pf and Aldridge at center when Camby needs rest. I like that better than Batum or Wallace at pf since they are better as small forwards.

Yeah, it's going to be difficult for us to get any bigs we want. Orlando and Boston are both wanting some pretty badly and both of those teams are far ahead of us in the championship race. Good chance between Boston and Orlando Powe and Murphy will find homes pretty soon.

corey brewer and mike bibby both are going to get bought out too. neither are big men though which is what we really need. still, I like bibby and back up pg is one of our weaker positions
