    Seven guards who have been able, or will be able to get high minutes. But there are only 3 spots. I'm no rocket scientist but something has to break. Whats it going to be?

    So the question is...
    Who gets benched?
    Who gets traded?
    Who starts?

    Rudy
    Wesley
    Wallace
    Patty
    Andre

    Well and Armon and Babbitt if there are more injuries

    Sit roy, Portland has no problem with paying people to sit for long periods of time, keep roy on the bench untill its beyond safe.
    Keep Batum outta of the # 1 & 2, no way should he shift that low, i dont think.
    Wesley, feisty Mc Killin it, he is doin grand there, keep him and Rudy playing that number two.
    And Dre and Patty goin at it in the #1.
    Dre is going to be super crucial from here on out, but patty will need to BALL off the Bench.

    Wallace can play 3/4 so if we run a big man offense. There is always a chance he gets that three spot. The Wallace topic is very new and hot around forums as you can probably tell. Its the big news for the day/week/month.

    Armon is in D-league right now so of course hes sitting. Babbits getting the fewest minutes so that ones kinda obvious too.

    So you think we should keep it like we are TayC?

    What about trade material? Who do you think is up for grabs come next season?

    Personally i would get Babbit out and get Armon back in.
    Replace babbit's playing time with a good rotation for Wallace and Batum, goin maybe 3 or even 4.
    Armon and Patty could take over at the point when and if Dre departs, i think they will bloom into some great ball players.
    Roy will come back, but it does come down to how much time will that take, Oden is the same thing.
    I personally dont think he will be back next year, but as the season goes on, i really want to say....maybe keep him one more year, but idk man.

    Just with him and Aldridge, OMG .....curtains.

    Just because a team can make a trade, doesnt mean they should. This team is CRANKIN it out right now....for the most part, still troubling on the "big name" teams....but the chemistry is in full effect, and imo Chemisty is why the Magic are not at a higher position. That mid season trade taking away like.....everyone!!!! no,That really effected them i think, so i dont think we should push our chances.
    See how we do this year, if there is an area in need of improvement, then tackle it in the off season, dont sit around and wait till pre season to make a trade.

    Babbit was only getting like 3 minutes every other game anyways.
    So if the three(sometimes 4) is Wallace and Batum.
    The point is Armon and Patty. (Dre traded?)
    what about the two? Rudy, Roy, Wesley?
    Rudy is a guy who needs minutes to get in his grove. So if we want to use Rudy at all we need to get him minutes. That means Wesley dominates his spot like he has been and Roy rides the pine. Or the minutes get cut three ways. 
    I agree that we don't need a trade but if players aren't happy with there minutes they will leave. Then we are left with nothing in return. Thats the big choice. Hold and risk loosing, or force a trade for some draft picks, or better players.

    That's why I didn't like this trade.  Didn't need him.  Aldridge better hit the wind sprints!

    No, I don't see him being traded because I don't want to see him being traded. He brings some flair to the game once he's on the floor. He doesn't just shoot, he also runs, steals, dunks, and passes.

    I see a 9-man rotation, with pretty balanced minutes. As of now, it's an 8-man rotation because Camby is still out.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
