    From what I'm hearing that isn't posted here...  (some of these may be unconfirmed, I'm just repeating what I hear).

    Memphis has picked up Shane Battier for Thabeet and a first round pick
    OKC has picked up Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson for Nenad Kristic and Jeff Green
    Houston Rockets have picked up Goran Dragic and a first round pick for Aaron Brookes
    Portland has picked up Gerald Wallace for ????

    Report: Gerald Wallace to Portland for Joel Pryzbilla+Dante Cunningham and 2 first round draft picks.

    I'm going to miss Pryzbilla but I can't complain with what we get in return.

    Bad trade? You're kidding right? If DC is ever as good as Gerald Wallace it will be a miracle.

    Awesome trade. Wallace can do everything that DC can do but better. No offense to DC he's a great guy, but obviously the inferior player.

    OKC Just Stole Kendrick Perkins. Wow he just the perfect fit for them.

    I love what the Celtics did today. Getting Green, a great glue guy for one of their many centers is genius. What does this say about Aldrich though? #11 pick, not getting much PT and they target for Perkins and Nazr Mohammed today? Ouch

    Well we might have givin up too much size but still love the trade.  Looks like Lamarcus is going to have to back up Camby (when he returns) at center, along with Batum and Wallace splitting minutes at the 3 and Wallace backing up LA at the 4.

    trade was not bad we gave up alot of size if the sean marks thing is true  but in return we get a great player possible starting 5 for right now

    Haha! Yeah, you got that right. He could have been a good protege with Marcus Camby as the mentor. As of now, Houston got Thabeet by giving up Battier. Gonna observe that one. If he's going to shine as a Rocket, it'll be regrettable because the Blazers didn't pursue him. If not, well...

    As for Gerald Wallace, I never expected that the Bobcats are going to trade him. EVER. He is the last original Bobcat left, and he is their leader. He leads by example, and his hard work is infectious. Now that he's a Blazer, I see the Bobcats team in turmoil because they don't have a clear leader. If you count S-Jax as one, you'll see all of their players getting technicals. Eventually, their franchise is going to have problems. As ever, they're perpetually in a rebuilding mode.

    The next concern now is the free agent to be signed by the Blazers. My guess is, Troy Murphy (if, and only if, GSW's going to buy out his contract which is expected to happen).

    Gerald Wallace plays for FOUR positions. Don't just see him as someone who plays only the 3 and the 4. He could play at the 2 and 5.

    As far as I could remember, there was a time when he played the 2 when he was still in Charlotte. He could be utilized as a shooting guard when the Blazers play against teams with guards who score heavily (like the Lakers).

    As for the 5, he could be used at that position when the team plays on a scenario where opposing teams go short and rely on miles of fastbreaks.
    I am a fan of the Portland Trail Blazers. Period.
