Since the Melo-drama just ended, the last two days before the trade deadline will be tense for us Blazers fans. Rumors have surfaced for a possible trade with New Jersey to acquire Devin Harris (and Troy Murphy who is likely going to be traded again somewhere else).

All I could say is just, wait and see. The balance of power is in the East now. And in my opinion, Portland is likely going to snag the division crown (though OKC is still going strong ). I just hope that if a trade falls through, it will help this team big-time and for the long-term...

Tense two days indeed.  No offense to the guy, but I don't trust Cho yet.  I'm more worried he'll hurt the team rather than help the team.

I give Ri-Cholo til the summer til I decide whether I like him or not. I miss K-Pritch though. He was aggressive and made good trades and drafts picks.

all i can think is where we would be moving troy murphy that would be beneficial to our team? why aquire him at all? devon harris for joel and try and retain andre miller... he is very important to this team and its success. he is the essential "glue" keeping us strong especially in the 4th quarter when we need Dre', he is there. bet!

Yes, I agree. I can still remember when the team got Ryan Gomes from the T'Wolves for the Martell Webster trade. Cho shouldn't have waived him because I believe that the team could have gotten a decent exchange if he was traded. The waiver of Ryan Gomes was really a waste.

Correct me if I'm wrong though, because people say that the primary reason why he was waived was to accommodate Wesley Matthews.

Why should we rock the cradle when the boys are doing great?  They have stepped up to the plate.
I think we should leave as is this year, unless we get rid of some of the Blazers that sit on the bench and never play. Let them play the season out they will get us to the play offs.  We also have to keep in mind that there will most likely be a strike.

I don't believe Cho was around yet when Gomes got waived. It was in that in between period.
I think it was a good move regardless.

Pritchard gambled with allen's money, by drafting longshots. Quit trying to paint him as a martyr. He's the reason cho has to be so meticulus.

@Crim...agree.  Maybe not so much the reason Cho has to be so meticulous, rather, the reason why the meticulous and extremely analytical Cho was Allen's choice.  As far as the draft choices by KP being good?  Not sure that is a solid statement.  Luke Babbitt?  Other than Roy, easily the worst contract on payroll.  Elliott Williams was selected knowing that he would have to have double knee surgery.  That leaves ArmonHammer.  I'm still holding out hope for AJ.  With time, THAT pick may actually pan out.  Other than the draft of '06, pretty sketchy track record for KP.  One could even argue the BRoy pick, as many GMs feared the knees and stayed clear.  Aldridge has morphed into the feather in KP's cap.

In Cho, I trust.  This is an exciting time Blazer fans, NOT a worrisome one.  A new sheriff's in town...
