    Are the Nuggets still a threat to catch the Trail Blazers in the playoff standings?
    Yes- They still have a ton of talent & are only 1 game back (9)

    In all likelihood, Melo in NY only increases the chances of the Harris/Dre deal

    Knicks and Nuggets will fall.  Denver got the upperhand, which is stupid of the Knicks, but oh well. It's over, and that's good.

    Glad Melo finally left the Western Conference!

    Hopefully now that selfish pig will ruin the rest of the Knicks season.

    Harris is probably going to play the Nuggets on Friday. Meaning now that Denver's roster is all different with Melo gone, PDX will trade for Harrison tomorrow or the day after. Harris more than likely will be in a Blazers uniform for Friday's or Sunday's game.

    i'm just a tad curious what sources some of you are using as you say we are going to trade for Harris. rumors are simply rumors, and perhaps some wishful thinking on some people's part. the absolute truth is the only one who knows what might happen is Cho and, as we've found out, he is very tight-lipped about what he may or may not be considering.

    Harris was not involved in that deal. However I do hope we get him somehow. He would be a great pg to have.

    Some ppl or hardcore fanatics when it comes dissemination of ideas, proposals, conjectures or vehemently object to what others opine about. This is a blog anything and everything goes. While I am a huge fan of facts and figures to substantiate opinions, it is incumbent on those w/ the facts and figures (or at least those who see themselves that way) to properly address or refute any opinions they feel don't have the apposite desiderata which precedes such opinions.

    It will take a couple of weeks, but I think Denver could still be good, Gallinari and Wilson are pretty good. I know they aren't Melo and Byllups but they can play. Lets just not jump to conclusions, In fact I think it is probably more likely Denver will play better, now that things have kind of settled there. So all you who think that OKC is our only worry shouldn't, we just need to keep the L - train producing and not count our chickens before they hatch. All that said It is good to see Melo leave our conference and division.

    I agree. It might take some games though before the Nuggets could blend together as a team. There will be a logjam at the 1 with Raymon Felton and Ty Lawson, at the 2 with JR Smith, Arron Afflalo and Wilson Chandler, and at the 3 with Gary Forbes, Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler. With Gallinari's height, it's either he play like Turkoglu or learn to play at the 4.

    I think they're done. They're battling with Utah, Memphis, and Phoenix for the 7th and 8th spots. I think Utah will eventually turn it around, and stop the skid they're on. So it really depends on it the Suns don't get their act together, and the Grizz crumble now that Gay is out for a month. Golden State could also make a surprise run. 

    I don't think Denver is any better than those teams. Once they learn to gel, maybe, and that'll be next year, but I think they're done this season. JR Smith, Afflalo, and Lawson would all have to suddenly become consistently great scorers.

    Denver got probably the most that they could in the deal, but NY got the best. The other guys are replaceable.

    FINALLY! We can talk about something other than melo...

    Also don't forget the Billups was apart of that trade and that will tear down Denver more than Melo leaving IMO He was a stong part to that team and I am curious to see what NY does with them.

    YES exactly , finally this Melo drama is over ! I think that NY with Melo will play very good but in the future, I mean they need someone else to become really strong team, They lost a lot of good players with this trade  and Denver maybe next season could play good but now I think that there is one opponent miss in race for playoffs .
