    it was great that he hit those! he shot 43 percent from the arc (3-7). i thought the exchange between Wesley and Ibaka afterwards was great!

    i really don't understand the problem some people have with the three goggles. it's a gimmick and it's created a little bit of revenue for the team. i'd much rather be talking about the goggles than one of our player's court dates (as in past years).

    I LOVED THE 3-GOGGLES AT THE ROOKIE-SOPHMORE GAME--IT MADE IT MORE LIKE THE BLAZERS WERE REALLY THERE--NOT JUST ONE PLAYER!!! MATHEWS REALLY REPRESENTED THE TEAM WELL--ALL THOSE 3S!!!! GO BLAZERS AGAINST THE DREADED FAKERS!!!!

    3 googles are cute if your in junior high. I understand the profit angle by the organization. Fun is fun.
    But 3 googles and twitter are not going to win a championship. Which is really what I would like to see from the Blazers.

    no one is claiming that the three goggles gesture is going to win a championship. at the same time, however, it's not going to cost a championship either.

    i trust nate to pull whomever does the 3 goggles if it gives up an easy bucket. have a talking with said player and then put him back the the game.

    I saw somewhere that doing the 3 goggles with one hand is an offensive gesture in France. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Seems funny to me when Nic did it then. It would be like putting up middle fingers, I guess. 

    Also, the goggles aren't a big deal for getting back on defense. They don't even do it all the time. It has brought the team and the fans together on stuff though. It's something that's just for fun. You know, like the game...if you're not having fun watching it, you're doing it wrong. It's a little gimmicky, sure, but nothing else has been added. If it evolves into more elaborate things, then it'll be worth talking about.
