    With the trade deadline rapidly approaching, does anyone else hope absolutely nothing happens? I really really enjoy our current team. Right now we are 5th place in the west BECAUSE of our current team.. these guys have earned the right continue at it, and stay where they are.

    With Brandon Roy and Marcus Camby coming back, who knows how far we can go. This is all starting to get really exciting! My hat is definitely off to Coach Nate and all the players, they have done a wonderful job. Lets keep at it!

    With Brandon and Marcus coming back, the team will be even better; not just because of their talent, but also because of the minutes these guys have logged. Now the regulars will be rested and their play will get better, especially on the second night of a back to back.

    but i feel as if alot of you guys are getting the the all star game confused with the finals......,
    there is still a LOT of season left after this weekend, and attaining a position on the conference top ten does not guarantee anything a week and a half from now, or in the playoffs....

    I say if we can get someone without giving up the players that Herr said (which i highly doubt) i say don't mess with it.

    Well, here are my reasonings.

    Andre Miller because he's one of the main reasons Aldridge is good and about 5 Aldridge's buckets come from Miller.  He's the best guy that can set up LMA.  So he needs to stay.  He also has confirmed that he wants to be in the league for at least 3 more years.  Age doesn't seem to affect him.

    Brandon Roy for obvious reasons.  The guy is one of the smartest players, and may be the smartest for his age.  He's also our All-Star, and is a threat regardless of what he does on the court.

    Marcus Camby Not a "must", but I wouldn't trade him to a contender, especially because he also has made Aldridge better, and he's the center we need until Greg can consistently play.  If we keep him until his contract expires, Greg should be ready to go by then.

    Greg Oden Easy, he's 22, young, a dominant big man, and has the potential to be great in this league.  When he's played, he's been a double double machine, and had 10+ points as the 4th scoring option.

    LaMarcus Aldridge  Do I need to explain why?  He could be a top 10 MvP candidate this week.  In fact, he SHOULD.

    Nic Batum  Young, full of potential, great defender

    Wesley Mathews - See Batum

    Dante Cunningham - tell me one guy that hustles as hard as he does.  You won't find any.

    BDawg is right, but I can't help but agree with the original poster a little bit. This team isn't really going to go far in te playoffs this year either way, but if we do have to wait to summer to make moves, I'm excited to see what this team can do with the rest of this season when Roy, and maybe more importantly Camby come back and they catch another gear. Right now this team is playing at a high level. It's fun. If a trade comes and it makes sense, then I'm all for it though. Even if it scraps the rest of this year. Cho still has yet to prove he can pull anything off that makes sense though in my opinion.

    I was originally down with trading Miller but he has gotten so good working with Aldridge there is no way i would seperate them now. I like the team how it is, they are playing hard and got some talent. They have good chemistry with each other and it should only get better.

    I don't think any team we can muster up through trading is really gonna go far either so i say we stick with what we have, see what we can do with Camby & Roy back for the rest of the season and figure it out after that...KEEP MILLER TILL HE'S 40 HAHA 4 reals!!!  and it's gonna be really hard to replace a guy like Camby that does so much night in and night out so keep him too!
