    hes in a contract year and nobody wants to give you anything for a guy thats had three knee surgerys

    Because Oden is a key to multiple championships when he stays healthy.  Same reason the Lakers haven't traded Bynum for Melo.

    He's still young, no one really has seen what he can do yet.
    It would be a shame to see him traded away, and 2 years later see he's becoming really good and haunt the blazers every time they play against him.

    Odens knee injury days are over, Both his knees are way better than before. He will not get any more big injurys, just small ones, like sore-ness. So now is not the time to trade any one. Next season some people will see to believe.

    With our luck, the minute the Blazers trade Oden he will get healthy and be one of the best in league. The Blazers took a risk by drafting him, but they can't give up on him for a few more years.
