Just looking to see if anyone has an update for Dante. As we all know he was hit in the eye versus Cleavland and i haven't found any links that tell how long he will be out. If out for a period does anyone think we will resign Johnson to another 10 day contract?

If DC doesn't come back with 3-goggles painted on his new hockey mask I'll be sorely disappointed...

...Dante Cunningham has been listed as doubtful for tonight's game against the Chicago Bulls because of a fractured right orbit.

    Mike Tokito, OregonLive.com:

The Trailblazers do not believe the elbow that a Cleveland player hit Dante Cunningham with was accidental, and have sent film of the incident to the NBA office.
Asked if that meant he believes the elbow was malicious, McMillan said, "Yeah.  Oh yeah."
Like most of you, I am both surprised and disappointed that it has taken this long for some sort of action to be taken with regard to the Samuels elbow that sent Cunningham to the floor during the first half of last Saturdays Cavs/Blazers game.  I can only hope and assume that the team had to first give the league an opportunity to review footage before taking matters into their own hands and forcing the issue.  In the past, an injury occurring as a result of an elbow, whether intentional or not, seems to have been given more attention by the league.  Could it be because it was just the Cavs and Blazers?  Unfortunate, whatever the case.

Take a look Rip City:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJBLP9gvlHs  What do you all think?

c'mon man, the dude didn't mean to elbow Dante. It was a reaction elbow, like if somebody tickled you in the wrong spot.

That was against Cleveland right? So you had the Cavs guards sprinting up the court, leaving the Cleveland PF to bring the ball up the court. Dribble, dribble, dribble, then Dante saw that and went "score!" He snuck up from behind like all good thieves do, and poked the ball away. Unfotunately his head was in the wrong place at wrong time siuation.

Malicious elbow, no Coach Nate, it was a malicious act by the Blazer guards on the floor, to use Dante as a human hurdle, running around trying to get some more 3 goggles against a bad team, instead of calling a timeout to help your fallen comrade. GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME, that was a really sad scenario to watch, and indicative of this team's skillset and inability to bring their A game into their opponenent's gym this season.

I have a question for you guys? If portland somehow won the lottery and got the 1st pick, would you guys rather trade down and draft a guy like oladipo/porter or stay at 1 and draft ben mclemore. Im just wondering on what you guys think of him, i ...

Thank you, Knorton. Now more rebuilding or anything. No rookie nonsense. Get a solid Defensive big. Trade every single pick to get it.

I don''t trust big men with a history of injury. Ibaka also weighs more than Noel, but you''re right, early days yet, he could bulk up. I am sure, that he will lose some of his speed and athleticism when he does though. Wasn''t that one of his bes...
