    From AOL Fanhouse-
Fernandez, who is under contract for next season but eligible for an extension this summer if rules remain the same under a new collective bargaining agreement, was asked if he hopes to talk to team officials after the season about such an extension.

"Yeah, absolutely,'' said Fernandez, the third-year man from Spain who said he no longer has the homesickness he once did due to his family spending more time in Portland and who likes now how he's being utilized by Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan.
"I don't really care, really,'' Miller said when asked in a FanHouse interview Wednesday whether his hope now is to remain in Portland rather than be traded. "You know what I'm saying? I would like to stay put, but it's a business and anything can happen.''

When asked if he believes there's a decent chance he'll be moved by the Feb. 24 trade deadline, Miller said, "Yeah. Yeah.''

"There's a chance,'' Miller said. "A lot of guys can get moved. Where? I don't know. At this point, hopefully it's not a team that's rebuilding. I wouldn't want to go back to like a Philly situation.''

Nothing earth shattering here. It has been reported that Rudy's been in love with Portland for the past few months and really, what other response would you expect from Dre? He's a liad back player who really doesn't get caught up in the drama that is the trade deadline. He's been dealt numerous times before and knows it just comes with the territory. If we do indeed move him, I do hope he at least is moved to a good team. I hate seeing good vets end their careers on cellar-dwelling teams.

I have a lot of respect for Miller.  However, if moved to a good team, a playoff team, the likelihood of him being in the starting lineup would not be good.  Good team=2nd unit.  Bad team=possibly a starter.  Given this, I doubt that he doesn't care...rather, he "knows it just comes with the territory"...as you said.

Yeah that Miller line is total BS.
He knows that he shouldnt of acted up, this fool finally sees that he is an expendable asset and now he wants to act stone cold as if he doesnt care.
    Ha
Goes to show you where his head is at.
ive been tellin you, Blake got to this guy and ruined it for him. ha

However Rudy always wants something it seems....

    "Dre doesn't care if dealt"

"I would like to stay put, but it's a business and anything can happen."

I like Andre.  He's not a sycophant.  He's talented and he's been around a long time.  It's been said before but I can't think of a more underrated PG.  Where would Portland be without Aldridge this year?  That's got an obvious answer.  Where would Portland be without Miller this year?  Answer isn't quite as obvious as the previous question but likely a similar outcome.  Take out either of those guys and the Blazers would be under .500 right now.

I love Mills to death but Miller is a rock and does more for this team than he's given credit for.  If he had the personality of Patty Mills he'd be the second most popular guy on the squad.  Of course I wish he played a bit more up-tempo and he can't spread the floor all that well but there is not a smarter Blazer that steps out on that court every night.
I am a fan of Rudy and Patty's off-court bromance.

yeah i know, i was just playing around on that, but blake might of P'd him off a bit.

I can honestly agree with everything you said about andre.
    i agree.
But i think if mills and or Armon had more time to play, perhaps they could turn into players that facilitate.
They have that speed, up tempo you want, but they lack the offensive awareness.

I'm on the exact same page with you in regard to Patty TayC.  I pray he's getting a good schooling from Miller while they're playing together.  I told my brother a couple months ago that Aldridge/Matthews/Batum and Patty could be HUGE for the Blazers over the next couple years.  Getting Patty that play time is the killer though.  It's rough when all the games are so close.  I love Patty's speed and passing but he's gotta' cut down on the turnovers and get that shot droppin' a little more consistantly in the minutes he does have before Mac gives him more time on the floor.  I really wanna' see what Mills does next season if the Blazers hang on to him.

It's a shame it's so difficult to speculate with everything up in the air regarding Oden and Roy.  There are so many variables involved with this teams progression and growth that trying to figure out where they're headed is borderline impossible.  A seasoned Patty/Matthews/Batum/Aldridge and a hungry Oden with Roy coming off the bench is just...ok I gotta' stop thinking about that because this time next week the only healthy Blazers will be Marks and eleven Blazer Dancers.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
