    I hope there is a "welcome home/thanks for the great season" rally to show the team our support. It was an awesome year.

    Absolutely. I too am disappointed about the playoff efforts but let's face it: This year we got WAY more than was expected. WAY more. We can all complain all we want, fact is we won 16 more games than anticipated, made the playoffs, hit our goal for road wins, and co-won the division.

    Well done Blazers, it was an excellent ride, and thanks for making us believe.

    Mad kudos to the Trailblazers. They didn't lose in the playoffs outta' lack of effort. The Blazers played tremendously exciting basketball all season long. I'm very proud of there achievements, and am REALLY looking forward to November, when the Blazers can start whoopin' other teams again. Enjoy your time off guys, ya'll definately earned it (:

    WE (everyone except Mike McClelland or however you spell that losers name) need to take a step back and look at this season. We were projected to make 7-8 seed at best, and here we were 4th seed with young players and a combined 8 playoff game experience. There is no question in NBA peoples minds that Brandon Roy is very very special and has the shine. He showed what he's got, and he's only scratched the surface of his NBA career. Scary thought.

    LaMarcus Aldridge matured right in front of our eyes in this series. He was tentative and complacent, and towards the end he is a force to be reckoned with and should not be forgotten. Not a compliment to Brandon Roy but a center piece along with him. Roy is the turkey in Thanksgiving dinner, and Aldridge is the stuffing. Brandon is the right shoe, and Aldridge is the left...yeah you get the point..I'll stop this real bad metaphor.

    Point is, I know we are all sad (in MIke's case "I told you all so" guess what MIke kiss my brown booty with all your God devine destiny hoopla. Go be a sports blogger if you think your good at it), but just look at this season and rejoice. Because next season, watch out Lakers, what out Cavaliers, watch out Rockets, watch out David Stern; it's no longer an uprise, we're here, it's a take-over.

    I think we barely scratched the surface this season. Greg showed a lot of potential this season, and I hope he makes all the doubters eat their own words. LaMarcus is on the way to being scary good. When he starts to toughen up he and Greg will dominate the inside. I was dissapointed that we lost the series, but I realize it is not our time.....yet. With Martell coming back next season and another year of experience for the second youngest team in the NBA I think we can crack 60+ wins and give the Lakers a run for their money.

    I was going to take some time away from the boards and let the Mike Mclellands phase out, let them disappear, and then come back just because I know how easily I get caught up in all the emotion. You all know I have been preaching all along about how regardless of how the series turns out, we need to be proud of the goals that were reached this season. I am glad to see that is happening here. I also want to warn people to be careful before we start throwing around the "trade" word. Let the emotion of tonight's loss, the end of the series, the end of this years season, pass. Let it all calm down. Once that happens, think about how much certain players have improved since last season (TO, Oden, LA, Blake), how new a lot of our players are (Rudy, Batum, Bayless), and how much work will get put in prior to next season. These guys are serious about winning. They have one of the best 5 coaches in the league, the best support coaching staff, and a GM who is an artist when it comes to dealing money and talent. I urge you all, take your time.

    These players showed great spirit all season long and carried us this far. Too many injuries, inexperience, etc.. none of them stopped these guys until the game six of the playoffs. I think this has been a great season and the future belongs to us.

    Yeah, great season traillosers. I haven't seen anyone get owned like that since I saw kunta kente in Roots.
