Blazers/Grizzlies Trade Idea

    so as the blazers keep there playoff hopes alive heres a trade i think can help short term and long term give me feed back on this trade .

    blazers get : Hasheem Thabeet , Mike Conley & Sam Young .

    Grizzles get : Andre Miller & Marcus Camby .

    Give me feed back on what you think ????

    There is no way on this earth the Grizzlies even think once about doing that deal. Conley is coming into his own, Young is a rookie and Thabeet still has potential. While Thabeet has been a bust, he was still taken #2 and Memphis will most likely hold onto him. It'd would be like someone proposing we throw in Oden to a deal b/c he's injured, but we as fans still think he has potential and want to gamble on the fact he could reach it.

    Plus Camby would retire so the trade wouldn't work for that reason alone. It would be Dre for Conley Thabeet and Young Grizzlies wouols NEVER do it!

    i like conley....but he does struggle intensely sometimes.....but if oden were to ever come back he is for sure one of the guys i would go after with PG

    why would you trade experience for youth? Marcus and Andre are key players in keeping this team afloat. This won't happen.

    Help in the long term yes.
    Help in the short term absolutely not.
    Experience for youth is a long term plan for sure.
    AND with the Grizzlies playing very good ball right now we would be signing our death sentence for a playoff hope.

    Camby IMHO is critical to ANY hope we have on reaching the playoffs this year.
    Trade Andre and Joel yes, but Marcus No.

    I have an idea I'd like some feed back on

    Blazers get: Granger, OJ Mayo, Theo Ratliff
    Lakers get: Pryz, Brandon Rush, James Posey
    Pacers get: Zach Randolph, Miller, Babbitt
    Grizzlies get: Ron Artest, Lance Stephenson, Rudy, Luke Walton

    There would be trade exception to make the cap work out. But this satisifies Ron's sudden need for a trade, as well as rids the grizzlies of Mayo. The Pacers, and Grizzlies have also said they are willing to deal D. Granger, and Z Bo

    Some of these players are making names on their respective teams. This deal won't happen. And the Blazers aren't likely to have a BIG trade soon, given the performance that they had. Because a trade will likely change, if not destroy, the chemistry of this team.

    Granger, and Randolph are on the trading block, that has been reported already. And I don't see this trade destroying chemistry at all, giving up Rudy(who ruins chemistry when he is on the court) and Babbitt(who doesn't play) wouldn't do any harm, and Pryz and Miller have already been rumored to be out. Ron Artest also wants out of LA, this solves a lot of teams wishes, and gives the Blazers a legit/consistent scorer outside of Aldridge

    with all due respect those players ....Granger and Randolph, are way higher Caliber of players than Miller. Pryzbilla, Fernandez and Babbit.
    Ron Artest.....i dont think so, but people can argue the fact that he is probably in that group too, higher caliber.

    If its outside scoring you are worried about...trading  Fernandez for Granger i mean what is the point. Granger isnt that much better than Fernandez, and we have players on this team......like Wesley Matthews, who almost shoots better than Granger from 3.....

    Randolph is too crucial to that memphis bunch right now, and trying to get them to split with him and OJ would be asking them to turn their season over.....

    Derrick Williams and Budinger are proven players in the league. Claver and Freeland are not

    I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
