I am from Mississippi so I do not have a lot to say about are fans. I do know one thing. We need more support. I'm not talking just about putting why you are a fan, or going to see the promotions at Old Navy and what not. We need to prove that the Rose Garden is one of the toughest stadiums to play at. It seems like at our home games, our fans are at an 19th century horse race. While on the other side of America, the TD Garden is rocking the NBA. I am trying not to say though, is that our fans need to act like a NASCAR redneck. We need to loosen up a bit. Jump up after a 3 point swish. At the very least, come to the games. Our team needs momentum! Come on!

I guess you haven't noticed that our home record is positive and since your from Mississippi you probably haven't been to a game. The crowd is loud and it goes crazy when the team hits threes, we throw up three goggles! The team if you haven't noticed thrives off the fans hence the winning home record!

You are right. I also never get to see the games since they never show them. I have noticed a positive winning home record, but also many teams also do to. I only see the front section of fans which never seem rowdy. Im sorry I made this. I was dead wrong. I feel ashamed.

    Not to worry, Nate. ;-)

I was at the game against the Clippers in the RG, and the house was truly rockin' --but friends who went to the game with the Celtics said there was almost as much green in the stands as red 'n black. What????

I'm going to the Spurs game and expect to leave very hoarse. Believe me, wherever I sit, it's rowdy.

If you watch games around the league, you'll notice how thin attendance is in many many arenas. But the Rose Garden has been sold out for 100-and-something games in a row.

this has been brought up before, you are not the only one concerned.
I have said, do what OKC did last year in the playoffs. Throw up a sea of the same colored shirt. Everyone standing like in College Hoops (people dont sit, its redic) just standing, bodies painted, signs waving. InnerTUBES!!!!!!!
I mean the 3 goggles campaign is off to a nice start. 3 goggle shirts, idk Market it.
Billboards down town like what Cle did with LeBron right across the street.

this is what I mean. Not just shouting and waving. Body paint, and tailgating. Maybe a walk of champions! (The players walk through a sea of fans to the stadium.) Make the Rose Garden not just loud, but a place where you will never get out of your mind

I've been to enough games to know that the crowd is in it; if they're not doing what they're capable the crowd expresses their restlessness; the rg crew even allow you to create your own signs for the game; they provide paper and markers and let you be creative.

Trail Blazers are well into the black, financially, and the RG is sold out every game. Why would Allen sell? Especially to MJ, who already has his hands full with ownership of the Bobcats?

The Portland fan-base is amongst the most rabid enthusiastic in the NBA, and the Blazers have historically had a great record at home court. Rumors are rumors, and you'd be well-advised to ignore the bias of most national TV coverage. They just don't get it.

Nate, I'm gonna be honest with ya, there is frustration mounting in the Rose Garden. Folks attending the game yell at the refs more then I'd ever seen in the past. Not that this is unusual for Portland, but it is unusual for the type of calls being made. A Blazer flops, and doesn't get the call, no reason to get mad at a ref, get mad at the guy playing terrible defense.

There's a lotta booze gettin' chugged around the Garden, and hopped up jocks say random mean things to people waking by. It's not as friendly of place as it may seem on TV. Things are changing, our team is losing more, and there's a dimming horizon being that all our main dudes are getting smoked with injuries.

It shows on fan faces, when this team loses by big margins,  while firing airballs at the rim. We're down near the bottom of the NBA in every shooting statistic, only reason we don't have a worse record is Nate has these guys playing good defense. Fans can yell and scream all the want, the noisy shockwave doesn't help the basketball in flight go into the cylinder.

Keep up the Rip City in Mississippi home boy! WE NEED IT

The Clippers have grown a solid fan base this year for two reasons.
The first reason is simple, LeBron James...no , Micheal Jor..d...a..n...no no no... Blake Griffin, ahh yes thatss it.
Second, they have the cheapest tickets to any form of sport event i have ever seen.
Some games it only cost $115 for court side tickets, and you get to meet players with those seats.
Its not super crowded like a Lake Show, and the Clipper players are very diverse, and at all 3 of the games i went to this seas, they manage to pull of a Top 10 play that is on Sports Center the next day.

Well this is a Study on the "Ultimate Team Ratings"
Portland is NOT number one. Also they rank below OKC, so i would take heed to their fans activities.....
