    *UPDATE*
Portland F Nic Batum's MRI is negative. He has a bone contusion and is listed as day to day.

    From Nic's Twitter-
    Nicolas Batum™
7.30am MRI for my left knee....
He said he felt a "pull" while guarding Pierce during the 2nd quarter. Let's just hope for the best. LA's MRI turned out fine, but whenever it comes to the knees, I can't help but worry. If Batum goes down, where do we turn?

Do we really have anywhere else to turn for PRODUCTIVE minutes? Hate to see Batums MRI come back positive for something, thats just another one to add to the list. This is starting to get rediculous!

If it goes bad which i hope it does't Luke Babbitt will get minutes and hopefully develop and we will have another good shooter. Hope Nic can play vs Spurs he can be a big help.

If Batum is out for an extended period, you will here the sound of a toilet flushing. That'd be our season

Hopefully Batum can use this time off to heal. I think Dante continues to improve on the defensive end though..He seems to have the quick feet necessary to take on the 3's if needed.

I'm glad Nick is ok....he did bump his knee pretty hard.  That was a pretty physical game...I'd like to see Nick go to the rim like he did last night more often !

    Go Blazers !!

Wonder if it will take on more sell outs to get Cho to look into the training staff....AUDIT?? CONSIDER PHOENIX SUNS METHODS? Or OKC methods? I heard OKC uses the same principles as the Suns staff....or does the current staff/methods just have to keep on keeping on....you know sometimes people are doing their jobs vey well and they JUST ARE NOT GETTING THE CORRECT RESULTS.

This is not a witch hunt. It is a reasonable request. ADD TO THE STAFF if you don't want to get rid of anyone. Bring IN PEOPLE FROM TRAINING STAFFS THAT HAVE ALIGNMENT METHODS WHICH HELP TO PREVENT INJURIES.
they can train the CURRENT STAFF. PLEASE.

I just hope he is okay, this won't help him bring his play up to a more consistent level. We need him to become what Roy was for us a consistent 20+ point, 4-5 assists, and 6-7 rebounds a game and make plays for others because that is what I think and I know he can do when he reaches his full potential, because if that happens we don't need to rely on Roy and him getting healthier. I am not a fan of Roy's shenanigans and not sold on what he is doing to come back and be a good, contributing piece to the Blazer's championship puzzle. I would rather see Batum reach his full basketball potential and show a lot more consistency because his game definitely will help our team more since he is a hustle and energy guy that can run the court and once he develops a better half-court game to dominate like let's say Reggie Miller and Scottie Pippen did. I am just saying this because Aldridge definitely needs more help on offense and defense than he is getting right now and I am looking at Batum to be that guy. A two man game between L-Train and an all-star level Batum would be AMAZING!!

i'm also glad to hear Nicolas the mri came back negative. he had us worried there for a little bit. we've got four non-game days off so maybe he can use the time to rest, work it out and be ready for the san antonio game o the game thereafter.
