There's been some rumors of Portland looking at him, What Do You All Think? He is a great player and he has playoff (Champion) experience. It would be great to have a guard with a ring to come to the Rose City, Let me know what Ya'll Think

    Any links about the rumors?

And the Blazers have a lot of guards already, so no thanks. It could have been good.

    * The Pistons are the biggest surprise, having played well despite the fact veteran guard Rip Hamilton never gets off the bench. Hamilton will be dealt by the Feb. 24 trading deadline, possibly in a deal involving Denver’s Carmelo Anthony. Chicago, Dallas and Portland are also said to be in the running for Hamilton.

    Haha, that's too funny.
Even though he's past his prime, I think he could be a huge contributor to the team. The Blazers do not have a guard that has been past the 2nd round of the playoffs. He could provide some veteran (Guard) support to these young guys that Miller, Camby, and Przybilla haven't gotten through too. Camby and Pryzbilla are both (obviously) centers, and Miller isn't very vocal so they aren't teaching much. Whereas with Rip, he could provide very solid Champion style wisdom to these young guys.

Rip a cap hold is a number given to free agents. Basically the cap hold is added to the teams salaries at the start of free agency. So for example a team has 10 million in cap space but has 15 million in cap holds they are technically over the sal...

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.
