Why Can't Przybilla Catch the Ball?

It really is a shame.  He's exceptionally good at rolling off of screens, but he just can't catch the pass when he rolls to the hoop.  As a result, he just fumbles it out of bounds or it ends up in the hands of his defender.  Until he can catch the ball, Nate needs to tell the guards that they cannot pass to Przybilla, unless he's out at the top of the key and he simply hands it back.  He's a solid rebounder and screen-setter, but for now, his inability to catch the ball near the hoop is hurting the team.  I love the guy, but he really needs to practice that fundamental skill of catching the ball in practice before he can become more involved in the offense.

He's not black enough!  na jk.  He's not meant for scoring, and neither is Camby.  He's more of the rebounder and defender.

never pass to a post on the run...they can't handle it. thats what I have always been taught.  He isn't an offensive threat, more of a rebound guy.

Some players just have bad hands. It's really as simple as that. Why do you think players play cornerback in the NFL? it's because they couldn't catch the rock as a wide receiver so they had to move positions.

no always the case though Hawes.
Sometimes , alot of the time, fast quaterbacks, are often put on d as CB because they have fast feet.
Football and basketball are quite similar at sizes and positions being relevant.
But every once and a while, youll get a 6'8 TE like Gates or 6'9 PG like Magic.
But the excuse of having "bad hands" in basketball, thats unexcuseable, thats like being a cross country runner with bad feet.
Or a championship bird spotter with pink eye, absolutley usless.
And im afriad Joel is becoming more and more like his coach, he must of caught the monetary bug.
because all joel does is grab boards.
    2 fg's against boston.
    thats just not okay.

Why not? Getting Oden back for 15 a game wouldn''t be that bad if he can do as he did in his 1st season. Close to 2 blocks a game and anything close to 5 boards. He would provide a good presence and he can read the game quite well.

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

Sug81 I love Iggy but this team has numerous gaping holes throughout the depth chart so signing Iggy is not the best way to spend our limited funds

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
