we should all know that the nba is verry messed up which is sad to say, our fellow brother team the sonics which a few years ago had to leave seattle which they were exactly like our beloved blazers people didnt give up our fans in the northwest our the best in the country we stick by our teams no matter what which is a good thing to say, but Ive always been a fan of the blazers coming from seattle but id always want the blazers to beat the sonics when theyd come to town, if you have some time on your watch this video and post back your thoughts I just never wanna see the best NBA team ever get screwed over like the sonics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9Dp20ydm1E

it won't happen; Paul Allen will keep the Blazers as long as he can and he will keep the Blazers here in Portland; Blazermania will be in Portland for many years.

You don't abandon a fan base which packs your arena for more than 100 games in a row. It makes no business sense. Plus, Paul Allen would have to hire bodyguards 24/7.

i am not worried seattle lost their team because one of two things the voters rejected a new arena that was set up to nba standards and the new owners might have kept it there if a new arena agreement had been met  and so they went with where they could build which was their home state. from what i have read that is part of what happened not saying the new owners did not have a hidden agenda to go to oklahoma. i felt bad for seattle as it was fun to have a nw rival and now we dont we lost vancouver too.  im hoping the nba will have an expansion but seattle to get a team back has to build a new arena for an nba team to play in period. sorry but that is the bottom line. on paul allen will not abandon the blazers he owns the rose garden and he would lose further money and to move to seattle would cost him more then he probably wants to deal with such as building a new arena. and man you would have to have body guards etc to have that happen in this town. not worried as of  yet...

You ever go to Key Arena? It's a dump. The Rose Garden, despite being around 15 years old (?) is still one of the nicer venues in the NBA, and I've been to most of them. If Seattle had an arena as nice as the Rose Garden, they'd have a team, period.

I don't personally think Paul Allen would do anything like that I know the blazers are here to stay I just wanted some opinions on this matter, of course I have been the Key Arena, the first NBA game I watched was there against the blazers and the blazers won with a game winning shot, changed my life I believe, But living across the water from Seattle I have a hard time trusting the NBA now especially the decisions that Stern makes, Stern is making the NBA worse and worse with the way he has handle some issues, but that is why I am very thankful that we have Paul Allen, Watching the blazers grow up into an actual playoff contender is probably the best thing that could of ever happened to help keep this franchise here, the NBA should be more about the love of basketball like how it used to be then rich people only making more money and trust me I know its all about business

yeah you obviously did not get that.
    so its okay.
But the point i was trying to make is that, it seems that the blazer fans always have something to worry about.
i.e. player health, the right draft picks, the bigs, the knees....ha the stairs....

The Timbers would have to get better then Manchester United, for folks in town to quit going to Blazer games.

seattle has two other pro sports teams, the seahawks and the mariners. the blazers are the only pro sports team in portland (and no i don't think the timbers count) so i doubt they'll be moving anytime soon.

Seattle wouldn't drop the bread to fix up the Key Arena, that's all the NBA asked, and they wouldn't do it. Folks up there are mad at Clay Bennet, and of course they should be. But they should also be just frustrated with the elected officials that didn't refused to support the Sonics anymore.

Will Seattle ever get an NBA team again ? ? ?

I dunno, ask Merlin I suppose

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
