Who do you think will be the X-Factor against the Pacers?
    Patty Mills (4)
     12%
    Dante Cunningham (1)
     3%
    Rudy Fernandez (10)
     29%
    Joel Przybilla (4)
     12%
    Nicolas Batum (15)
     44%

The Trail Blazers are riding high, winners of 4 straight, and looking to improve on their 15-5 home record as the Pacers come into the Rose Garden for the 2nd game of a 5 game home-stand. Indiana, like Portland, is sitting in 8th place in their conference at 16-23, but they are heading in the opposite direction of the Trail Blazers, losers of 3 straight, including 7 of their last 10, and only 6-13 on the road.

This game will be another contest where the crowd needs to carry the team. This will be Portland's 6th game in 9 nights. Add that to a depleted roster and the Blazers main weapons have been run ragged and are tired, which explains the slow start against the Clipps. it will be important for the bench to bring the energy during their first shift: Rudy swerving through traffic, Patty pushing tempo, Dante crashing the glass. As always, work the offense through Aldridge on the low blocks and force Indiana to pick their poison. Finally, the X-Factor of tomorrow's game will be Joel Przybilla. He's really came on as of late, esp how he completely took DeMarcus Cousins out of the game by playing mind tricks on him. He'll grab rebounds, commit hard fouls, and set the quality screens our shooters need to get open.

I'm picking Dante.  This team really struggled against Griffin, and let him get 28 pts in the first half, 47 for the game.  That started making people look like idiots thinking he's a top 10 player in the league.

LMA and Dante should have good nights tomorrow.

Pacers are in the East Coast playoff hunt. I don't expect them to wilt like the Clippers, and Timberwolves. Even though the Blazers are short handed, the talent the Blazers have is still way better then what the Pacers roster shows. Should be another exciting Blazer game.
    Keys to game:

✔ Don't let Danny Granger score easy baskets, Nicolas, Wesley, Rudy need to keep a body on him 24/7

✔ Get back on D, slow up Pacer's transition game

✔ 3pt %, open up the inside game for Lamarcus, hurt Indiana if they sag the paint.

Honestly, the Blazers should come out with a big win tonight against the Pacers.  Batum, Matthews, and Fernadez can get after the threes and spreading the floor, which will open up the key for Aldridge.  The pick-and-roll will be important and Przybilla can set a killer screen to get Miller or Mills an open look at the hoop.  Defensively, I think we can stop/slow down the Pacer's offense and disrupt their momentum and cause turnovers.  I think Nicolas Batum is heading for a great night tonight offensively.

I pick Joel mainly because I <3 him so much but he does add a lot to the game when he's in so he very well could be the X factor.
I am a fan of The Blazers playing their hearts out in spite of all the hardships that come their way.

I see many holes in this Pacer team. They only have one or two good players. Danny Granger is the only reason they are relevant in playoff discussion.

I say Rudy Fernandez with his defense will be the key.
blazers streak will crack here though.

This team is running on fumes right now. Luckily we were at home and playing the Pacers. I don't think Aldridge got one rest in the second half and I think we were lucky to walk away with the win. Without Andre, Rudy filled in admirably. LaMarcus had a quiet 25/11 night, but he got to the line, slowed the game down, and helped us chip away. Player of the game was Batum and all of his clutch, shot-clock beating 3-pointers. You live by the 3 and you die by the 3. Tonight we live! Great win, now try to get as much rest as possible, because the Kings come into town on Monday. I bet this team has the All-Star Break circled in red on their calendars right about now!

I'm the only one that voted for Cunningham.  Batum was the reason, but Cunningham played some excellent D and his hustle is very valuable to the team.

    Fernandez and his D.
If you have that coming in every game like he has.
OMG> that would help so much.

    wow, good game.
I love that jumper from Aldridge i dont care what they say.
Fernande, i think, lived up to my hypothesis and could of been the most important factor.
    nice 3 ball from everyone.

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
