Jason Quick of the Oregonian is reporting that Trailblazer center Marcus Camby will have an MRI on his left knee on Tuesday.  Camby played just seven and a half minutes in Portland's 113-102 win over Minnesota Monday night at the RG.

Camby said he landed awkwardly after falling following a block attempt at a shot by Minnesota forward Michael Beasley.
"I went to go block Beasley's shot and kind of landed on (his left knee)," Camby said as he was leaving the Rose Garden.  "I got up and tried to run it off, limp it off.  I went up (the court) a few times and it just didn't feel right when I put weight on it, so I went out of the ball game."

Camby added his knee had "minimal swelling" and was "a little sore".
Has there ever been another professional sports team, in any era, more snake bit than our Portland Trailblazers?  Let's hope for negative results and just a "tweek".

    From Blazers PR:
An MRI on Marcus Camby's left knee came up negative today. He is listed as a game time decision (sore left knee) for Wednesday's game at Sacramento.

This time.  Hopefully Mr Cho is working on a plan for another big. I don't think it's a stretch to be prepared for an injury to a big. After 4 years, it's not a matter of IF, it's WHEN. Call it a curse or whatever. I call it reality.

Agree.  Really, I've been feeling for awhile like we were on borrowed time with Marcus ALREADY.  I even suggested in the Nets thread Saturday that unless minutes and expectations be reduced with regard to the starters, we were asking for injury.  I have also heard (from Quick) that there are some doubts as to the findings of Camby's MRI and that further evaluation is going to take place.  Cross our collective fingers, Marcus isn't out of the woods yet

Just what the Blazers "k"need. a big/ a knee/ an MRI; those 3 just don't mesh w/this franchise; thank goodness nothing serious/ how grateful we can be that Marcus knows how to stay healthy.

Does the jeapordy music play when the Blazers "doctors" are viewing an MRI?
Is it like Cake Boss finals, and they gotta run around and give the best possible report before time expires?
Bigger question....CAN RUDY PLAY CENTER? If your answer in no, then you and Cho, are not seeing eye to eye. Yes Rudy can play center, and he'll like it their. Why would Cho hire anybody else? Rudy will put up 20 and 10's smashing fools in the paint all night!

sign oden to 3 year and 1 million per year. if he plays like he was supoosed to be when we drafted him, we got a steal. if we get allen too, we are going deep in the playoff since our last champ season. imagine this, damian going for a 3, he make it,...

Barnes would not fit in Portland. His attitude is completely wrong. Sanders has anger problems, but is not an bad guy. Barnes is dirty. Tony Allen already has an excellent core in Memphis. Z-Bo, Gasol, and Conley. He has finally found a team which...

Dion is good as well. Harrison isn''t great at any one thing. He''s a very good defender, a solid three point shooter, he is athletic, strong, can take it to the rack well, has a decent mid range game, and a good attitude. This collection of good ...
