    We lost games with BRoy because we over-relied the ball on his shoulders. Now we are winning games without the injured Roy becacse the Blazers is playing as a team and our talents showed their very part. This is the lesson we are encoutering now. Hope someday, when BRoy will be 100% healthy we win games as a team not just because of Roy but because of all!!!!!!!!!!!!

    --I might say again now, Blazers is better without Roy. We need Roy no more!!!!

    WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO TO PORTLAND AND STEAL THE MANAGERSHIP FROM RICH CHO TO MAKE THINGS EASIER? YOU KNOW HOW EASY IT IS TO MANAGE A TEAM RIGHT?

    Blazers is a better team without Roy? Hmmm at this point in the past few season we were 30 something wins and losses in the 10's. Without Roy we are 21-20. I think not, regardless of how well everyone is playing.

    Past few season also, Roy has been in the top three in scoring during the last 3 minutes of ball games. Hmm...let's connect the dots arniel...we lose close games and can't score...our best scorer late in games is injured..hmmm funny how that all kind of makes sense.

    Let me say again now, Blazers are not a better team without Roy. WE NEED ROY MORE!!!!

    We beat the Timberwolves and Nets

    We were at .500 before that.

    We are simply the Trail Blazers without their best shooter.

    The only reason we are winning games without Roy is simply because we are a good team. If Kobe has a season ending injury and the Lakers have a winning season are all their fans going to say they don't need Kobe anymore? NO! they will say imagine if we had Kobe this season we would be champs. Which is what this post should be about not how we don't need Roy when if he was healed and playing for us we would be competing with the Lakers and Spurs for top positions in the west/NBA!

    like you know that feeling, when you want to say something but youre not sure if you should?.......oh, you dont?

    Brandon Roy neveer played the way you make him out to be.
    Brandon Roy never cost this team a game because he decided to go 4-26 in a playoff game.
    Brandon Roy is bordering on a career average of 20ppg - 5apg- 4.5rpg.
    Brandon Roy is Hurt, in his knees and yet you are still putting him down.
    Brandon Roy is Angry now.
    Brandon Roy is taking Greg Oden and Going to Miami.
    Bradon Roy is Tan now.

    I suppose you are right if you are happy with losing in the first round of the play-off's. We are better than any under .500 team out there. Right now we are the eighth seed in the west and there is a reason for that. We have played some really good games against tougher opponents, went toe to toe with them and lost by a few points. Wesley Matthews shooting 6-18 does not a Brandon Roy make. Rudy Fernandez shooting 2-12 does not a Brandon Roy make. You are right about one thing though and that is the ball can stop going through Roy and stop running your offense totally around him. This faster pace we are setting is differant than the style of ball Roy is used too and with his knees he probably cant produce for long periods of time BUT for the sure shot when it counts when we need to win I'll take Roy because right now there aint no one else on this team that can do it.

    I don't get why people think Roy is the problem.  There have been many games this season where I feel we lost them based on our play, and not the other team.

    There have been many games where we lost after leading after 3 quarters.  There have been games where we needed a closer and it didn't happen.  All of these games basically happened without Roy.  We need Roy, and if you don't think that, become GM, trade Roy, and enjoy never getting out of the first round.

    We might have some good moments with Roy hitting a buzzer beater here and there, but for the most part, we have always had hard times closing games with or without Roy. When you run a system for years that just involves Brandon Roy creating his own shot and him popping it out to a quality shooter for the three, you are bound to be doomed. Why do we think it took Aldridge so long to develop? He never felt the need to bang. Roy is a good player, but not when that's all we base the team off of.
