    Portland looks to break a two-game losing streak and go for the season sweep of the Phoenix Suns in one fell swoop. Although the Blazers should be familiar with the Suns, proven by playing them 3 times already this season, but this is the first time they have faced the new look Suns. Gone are Hedo Turkoglu and Jason Richardson and inserted are Vince Carter and Marcin Gortat.

    Phoenix is in spiraling down out of control at the moment and seem like a lock to miss the playoffs. They are 3-10 in their last 13 games, including an embarrassing 34 point drubbing this past Tuesday in Denver. All Portland has to do is show up, generate high quality shots, and knock them down. Honestly, I doubt Phoenix puts up much of a resistance if they get down early, which means it is important to jump out ahead and never look back. LaMarcus Aldridge should have a field day against a weak Phoenix front court and continue his path to the All-Star Game. And if the Trail Blazers can just get Wesley Matthews or Nicolas Batum rolling alongside LA, Portland gets the sweep!

    I found on Twitter that Wesley tweaked his ankle in practice. No links, but apparently Patty "Dr. Mills" Mills as Jay Allen pointed out on Twitter, thought Matthews would be fine.

    Umm... New look Phoenix is only good for the entire league, and not them.  I'm sure Vince Cartar and Gortat are going to help...

    It's easy, just play Blazer defense and feed Aldridge.  I'll be surprised and disappointed if we let this game slip.

    Same as always with the current roster...play inside-out, which starts with, but is not limited to, Lamarcus Aldridge.  Attack the cup.  Don't get lulled into a jumpshooting contest with this team, feeding Nash and their high octane offense...especially IN Phoenix

    I'm fine with Wesley sitting out, as long as Rudy penetrates.  He's better at that than WM, and it's not like the Suns are known for great D.

    If you can dominate down low without question go for it.
    But with this team its all about Nash.
    And now thanks to Nash .... Dragic.
    Nash and Dragic are almost the same player, they take on the same responsibilities when they are switched in and out.
    They control the pace of the game, Nash better than Dragic, but if Nash gets word to play fast paced, its going to pick up, if nash wants to slow it down, then he will.
    The best way to overcome this, in my opinion, is to take that away from them. We need to control the game before Nash can establish his grounds. If we can take away their control of speed of the game, then they wont have much.

    i have to leave this game right now, but the team is playing very well.
    Aldridge perhaps 30 and 10+
    I am liking all the steals, and even steal attempts, love patty mills, soo small, so fast, so deadly.

    But WOW this REPLAY IS REALLY LAME!!!!!! like the 4time now they have made a call then 30 seconds after they have changed it.

    Close game, we were sooo close. Darn that Steve Nash. He swished like a 31 footer to put the Suns up for good, just gotta tip your hat off sometimes. Or do what I said earlier and knock him down.

    yeah but thats a pathetic excuse for a loss, this team and every other team that plays the suns already knows before hand that nash is the guy you gotta stop
