Statistically, who will have the better night?
    LaMarcus Aldridge (15)
     100%
    Kevin Love (0)
     0%

The Trail Blazers have won 13 straight games over the Wolves, the longest such streak against any other NBA franchise, but it's not going to be easy tonight. The new-look Wolves have been much more competitive since the acquisitions of Martell Webster and Michael Beasley and Kevin Love's improved game. They still aren't used to winning, so even if they jump ahead early they will leave the door open for a Portland comeback. But the Blazers shouldn't need a comeback if they run the offense through Aldridge, who tied a career-high with 36 points last time around against Minnesota. While Love puts up great stats, he is lackluster on the defensive end, allowing LA to pick and chose his spots to score on Love.

Outside of LA dominating in the post, Portland needs great nights from Camby on the glass and another starter to help shoulder the scoring load. Wesley Matthews has been in the longest slump since being inserted into the starting lineup but he shouldn't have a problem scoring on rookie Wesley Johnson. Also, the bench must come ready to play to prove they were no one-hit wonder after sparking the comeback in Houston.

I agree LA should have an easy job fighting off Love and Beasley, but love is an amazing rebounder and will hurt us badly in the post if LA doesnt keep consistent but thats mostly unlikely by the way hes playing now. Ruuuudy and Patty need to have there 3 goggles on tonight, because there are some big shot chances you can take against an almost "all rookie" team but there is experience on this side. I reckon Portland by 10 or maybe 15. But dont underestimate Love.

Love vs LA... hmmm...  I'm going to say LA.  I don't know why, but the past two games the Blazers stopped going to LaMarcus in the 4th until it really mattered.  I slammed my desk multiple times watching that game in Houston because everyone was taking stupid shots when Adelmen couldn't figure out how to stop LaMarcus.

Intelligence should win this game.  Love is overrated simply because he's a great rebounder but people tend to ignore how horrible he is on defense.  LaMarcus should have a career high tonight and prove to the league that LMA > Love.

I may be a homer but I think LA has the better statistical night. Love doesn't particularly play well against Portland and LA is coming off of a 36 point, 19 rebound night against them. I'd love (no pun intended) to see both of them guard one another the entire night so we can truly see who got the better end of the matchup.

That game was poorly officiated.  The amount of times I saw Kevin Love holding onto LMA and having him use his off-arm.  LMA was the better player in this matchup, and always will be.  Nice to see Kevin Love finally playing defense.  Too bad every possession he was fouling LMA.  Same with Brewer on Mathews.  Poorly officiated game.  Had the Wolves been a good team, and the Blazers a bad team, the Blazers could have lost last night and it wouldn't have been their fault.

Yeah I was one of them *blushes*. I was never a diehard fan of basketball until the 2011-2012 postseason. I could name every team, but I always forgot two. Kings and Blazers.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...

I watched Shabazz at the combine and he was a poor shooter.  In fact he did  so bad he did not even show up for drills in day two.  He may be a scorer not a shooter.  If he throws up enough shots he scores.  If someone looks a...
