I know its just another random thought of many to come in the next few months but,

Why not attempt a shot at Nash? Yes he is "Old" but what else is so wrong? ya, a few turnovers here and there.  He fits the bill for the team. He's the guy that can come in any given situation and make the team better. He plays a fast tempo ( i know thats not completely in the blazers plan but with no roy it seems to happen more) he can break apart the D and find shots as well as set up his teammates. Nash seems like the guy that can help us develope on the fly. It would do wonders for patty and AJ to work with him. Nash has always been a tad soft on D but he's slick and can do wonders for the blazers on offense.

    Any thoughts on Nash?

You said it yourself.  The Blazers are trying to be a more defensive team, and Nash is REALLY soft on defense (not just a "tad").  I wouldn't mind Nash all that much, but if we got him for the rest of this season and next season, we'd be in the same book as we are now - looking for a new point guard.

    I'd have to say no.

Nash is too old for us. Unfortunately we are not title contenders, so I'm not sure it would make sense to go after the veteran point guard who will undoubtedly cost us a lot of our future.

We dont need to shop at the Smithsonian for a PGOF.  What we need to do is concentrate on acquiring a better scouting team, and get us a pg off the tree, instead of out of the barrel. We can ill afford to pass up on a guard because someone in the front office feels holier than thou and doestnt draft because of a prior disccrepancy. Cast the first stone and all of that, you know what im saying?

I agree with this one, though. Besides, the team already has a good PG mentor in Andre Miller. And with Patty Mills and Armon Johnson as the protege, everything will be good.

    perhaps....but damn can she balll.

nash doesnt seem to be going anywhere despite the suns attempt to rebuild. if they are smart, they will go after two decent players, a SF or SG who can hit clutch shots, or a tall fast, PF or C perhaps with a decent J , or the other way, Super Huge, Super Dominant PF or C.
you get those with nash, its over, later lake show.Nash Deal

Bad calls? I remember when watching the Lakers game after the all star break that it was the worst match I have ever seen. I don''t think it happens that often to us unless it''s a marquee team.

The list of possibles assumes Oladipo does not fall below the top nine.  I agree that if he did the list would change and most responses would indicate him as the choice.

Oh, sorry Damian, you make so many I stopped reading them. I don''t because I don''t know much about salaries and stuff. Stephenson would be great, excellent rebounder, Tough Defender, is playing awesome in  today''s  game.

Siccolo, did you mean heavier or lighter? I don''t think Noel will do well in the league. If he stays healthy long enough, he might be a half decent starter, if not, Greg Oden.

Damian, you are completely right on that, let''s just hope it''s not a negative impact (Shout out, Ray Ray). And since when did people WANT to come to Portland? This is great.

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
