How will the chemistry that the team has developed without Roy change when Roy returns? Aldridge is getting star player attention and that will change when Roy is back, Matthews has stepped up and taken more shots and the rest of the team needs touches also! When Roy is back he WILL be our star player but how will it change the rest of the teams ability to win games? Maybe a trade will be in order to get rid of some players who will need the ball like Batum or Matthews...

The only thing that will have to change i think is the Roy and Miller situation. Brandon is going to have adapt to the new game style i can see him beccoming a 6th man at this point. He does make alot of money and can still be a star but paul alan pays the bills and from what i hear he likes what he is seeing. Although i dont want this to happen alan can pay off Broy if need be. But nico and mathues are great out side shooters and they can do alot of damage from there. Haveing them brandon lamarcus will make it to where other teams can not dubble team as much.

At this point, it might be in Roys best interest to befriend the second unit. If he returns in the latter half of the season. I still say rest him if and until we reach the playoffs. He'd be a great decoy, but our guys would have to hit there shots once he makes the pass. And, he's still a deadly shooter, so if you give him room, he's money. Speaking of money, he's owed to much of it to be traded.

If Roy returns later in the season, I agree he should get comfertable getting to know the second line up, maybe make him a 6th man option, If he gets thrown back into a starting role after being gone, he will mess up the chemestry the team is building and will have at the time, by wanting to have the ball and trying to play like his old self. Just let L.A. continue being our star hes proven himself I think, I'm sure Brandon will be back at some point this season and we will be a great help to us, that is if we can keep him actually playing, there gotta be something that can help him out, Look at Nick van exel and cliff robinson they both had no miniscus in both knees and they had good careers, well atleast i dont ever recall them playing acouple of games and than having to sit twice as many as played, as for the trade I have heard the several teams have expressed intersest in Roy every sence it came out that the blazers were looking into trade and said everybody was elegable for trade except for Batum and LA, I still say the blazers should try to start talks with cp3 fromt what I hear he still hasnt commited to N.O.

We need to limit Roy's minutes.  Maybe give him 5 minutes a game when he first returns, then steadily grow them.  His stat line isn't important, his chemistry is.

oh yea true that would work but then they''d probably totally pass on mclemore or I guess they could use the pick to trade down or take a chance on noel if the d12 thing didn''t work out

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
